We learn through reading, listening and by writing in the schools but if talk about the management it could be better done by doing hence Mba or any management program have an internship program to apply all the theories practically.

Management Skills cant be developed without practical Experience. Reading can only give you an idea..but doing things by yourself can help one to actually apply those theories.

Should one be very good at academics for accomplishing my goals or i should lay more emphasis on doing more productive activities.As very well said that there is no learning like learning through experience.At the same time,one should rely on others experiences obviously learned through reading or jumping oneself into the action..
