You are joining as a BD/Sales Head in an IT Services company and have offers from 2 different companies. Which one would you like to join?
Scenarios:
1) In Company A, you would report to the president who is a Technology Guru but with little or no understanding of BD / Sales.
2) In company B, you would report to the president who is a BD Specialist but strictly follows his own intuition and guidelines.

I am suggesting on the basis that the company which I am going to join possess open culture environment.

I'll join company A. I choose this decision by considering that I have good knowledge of profile which I am going to handle. As mentioned, I have to report to president who is a technical guy but has little knowledge of BD/Sales. I think it will provide me an opportunity to produce my ideas and contribute towards organization. As President has good technical knowledge so I think it will make proper combination and good learning of technical skills to me where I am lacking a bit. It will also helpful for the organization to provide customize products to customer.

On the other hand if I would have joined company B then I could not provide my contribution/ideas as president takes decision on his intuition and guidelines.

Let me support Manish on this!

According to the given situation, I have two offers from different companies. It means that I have certainly evaluvated the history and roadmap based on the discussion I had with the President.

I will not prefer Company "A" although it is a challenging position and I will have a good oppurtunity to grow with the company. I would love join Company B, as working with a BD specialist; will certainly improve my BD skills.

Let me start by supporting Company B as at least, the 'BOSS' will have the ability to understand the needs to accomplish a task!
