Like Senior IAS officers Politicians should be made to appear for Special Selection procedure. There should be minimum education requirement and atleast 5-10 years of Senior management experience. Every person wishing to be a Politician should prove his abilities through a round of Special Selection procedure having written exams, Group discussions, Media Interviews..

Yes there should be a criteria. But it will be extremely difficult to keep check on it. For example Most leaders who are in the mid age (45 - 60) now.  Started there carrier with student politics during emergency.

As per as the qualification is concern they will full fill all the criteria, but what they are doing is entirely different thing. Political science is there in our curricula.

End of the day it all comes to individuals. Former Loksabha speaker who took the retirement from active politics can be seen as start of change.

Lead India and Jagoo re, campaigns are creating a great awerness among us.

I feel the foremost criteria that must be applied is every member with even the slightest of criminal record must be disqualified and the min qualification must be graduation. Also a bill must be passed that like we elect these MP's if they do not deliver the goods we must be able to deelect them . We are proud that many qualified and good industrialists are venturing in this field with the aim of only development of the state.

Atleast candidates who succeed in the Selection procedure would be educated and would be having clear vision why they wish to enter politics.

When we improve the Quality of options available people will also be more enhusiastic to VOTE for the BEST!
