Auctions of players is not fair,should it be the other way round?

Kapil Dev said that players should choose the team they want to play in.. It is so odd when Dravid is playing agaanist RCB and the match is in Bangalore.. The situation gets awkward..What when Dada plays against KKR in Eden garden.. People will be confused whom to cheer!! Would not it be a good idea to let players choose their club??

Commensurate to the auctioned value, they should have shown their energy! Poor young guys had to work two or three times more than the settled players who were bought for higher value. If you want to bring excellence in any power game, you should keep two things away from the players, "celebrities" and "glamour" - the entire IPL bashing was viewed as Bollywood entertainment! This brought also a great controversy that the players are meant for club and not for India!

even if not so...........players should have the freedom to cancel an offer....i hope they still have it but because of very few teams they are unlikely to cancel anything.

There is not much difference between this auction and the auction of cows and buffaloes in the animal market. Atleast, in the cow auction it is the business of the chap who bought it to see that the cow delivers. In this auction, it becomes the business of the cow to deliver. Cricket is also one of the biggest time-waster games in the world. Less of cricket and productivity will increase. Can there not be a mechanism to hold these matches in-camera and broadcast the game after office hours?

Auction reveals the true ability of each player. In others words, players are paid according to their worth not by any other notion. Dada playing against KKR or Dravid playing against... should not look odd because at the end all of them play for India and don't divide them between clubs/cities/states
