After all the racist attacks that one saw in Australia where Indians were targetted time and again, and Australian government didn't come up with some thing strong in order to prevent these attacks, the racism attacks continued and they were not able to do anything, and after all this they have come to conclusion like, from now on Australian colleges will restrict the Foreign students intake.

And a review paper released said that a heavy concentration of international students, particularly from a single country could lead to a poorer student experience, but we all know the main reason why there will be restricition.

Is this the right move from Australian government to restrict the foreign students intake?

I think they are out of choices, they want to be good to all, even the culprits for that matter, till now no strong action has been taken regarding the rise in racist attacks in Down under, and the solution that they have come up with is restriction of Foreign students intake. I mean how will this end the attacks for the people who are already there in the country. This is no solution according to me, and they are just denying foreign students quality education in this matter.

Its better to solve issues rather than circumcircling them which may lead to bigger problems.

Actually the Australian govt would not accept the attacks on Asian students as a racist attack even after so many attacks on India  students. But the move of restricting foreign students in their colleges would hamper the brand Australia which it created until now among the graduate and post graduate students akll over the world as it was one of the cheapest foreign destination for the foreign students to move.

Where as after these racist attacks students are afraid to got to australia and on the contrary there are no protective and supportive steps for the foreign students against these racist attacks. So this would hamper the Indo Australian relations in all means and even the trust they had built is also broken.
