Such statements are made for publicity only. This very thinking has led to naxal movement in India. If Baba ramdev raises any such private army, he becomes a terrorist in the eye of law.

The mammoth business empire of Baba Ramdev, estimated at Rs 1,100 crore, is now under official scanner, An aide to the yoga guru called it hogwash. Sources in the corporate affairs ministry said that companies and trusts linked to Ramdev deal in ayurveda medicine, food, cosmetics, construction, real estate, transport and packaging. An official told IANS that while there was no specific charge against these businesses, their income tax computation would be done. In the last five years, Ramdev is said to have built a huge business empire of over 30 companies. His key aide, Acharya Balakrishna, is said to hold the key to most of them. Besides the income tax department, the Enforcement Directorate will also examine these companies affiliated to Ramdev's Patanjali Yogpeeth and Divya Yog Mandir trusts. These trusts in Hardwar, according to the sources, had a combined turnover of some Rs.1, 100 crore in 2009-10. The broadcasting company that owns Aastha TV a religious channel is also affiliated to the trusts. Jaideep Arya, national co-coordinator of the Patanjali Yogapeeth, said the government was simply attempting to divert attention from the issues related to corruption that Ramdev had highlighted. "It is hogwash. The government is doing such things to divert people's attention from the 50,000 crores Black Money stashed away by the Congress and UPA Govt.First Probe Chidambram , Sibal ,Digvijay and others..

Thanks Jabir for referral. it actually shows what ramdev thinks. His associate a Nepali citizen with Indian passport also shows his mentality. In the first place some body wants money and on acquiring the same looks for name there after want to be on top with the help of politics. Ramdev is a person of this attitude. His philosophy is to attain the goal by any means even if by creating a group of militia.

This kind of irresponsible statement and creation of parallel armed force is very dangerous to the democratic principle. He is frightened after the incident and is being ill-adviced by his supporters from various political parties. Had he kept himself away from politicians in the first instance, he would have had a tremendous support from all walks of life. He should have kept a number of legal luminaries and celebrities along side and should not have gone alone with his deputy for back-door dialogue. He is confused now. All his efforts in all these years to put up a brave face is fading now!

I am one of the lakhs of people who have learnt yoga from him and actually benefitted. I fully support him in his cause for fight for bringing back black money. But his statement today that he will raise an army is completely unjustified. Let us fight and agitate peacefully and force the Government into taking action to bring back all the black money. Let us not indulge in violence. If we become violent, there is no difference between us and the terrorists

To protect himself if any body takes support of arms is natural particularly against a person endowed with arms. If Neta jee subhas chandra bose ,chandra shekher ajad, bhagat singh would not have taken support of arms we can not be able to LIVE IN INDEPENDENT INDIA.IF GOVERNMENT WILL DISTURB THE INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO GATHERED FOR THE RIGHT CAUSE, THEN GOVERNMENT ITSELF ADOPTING DESTRUCTIVE APPROACH AND WANT TO DISTURB THE NATION in such a situation people must teach a lesson to the government. WE REQUEST TO the SUPREME COURT TO INTERVENE INTO THE MATTER AND GIVE RIGHT DECISION SO THAT THIS TYPE OF CRUELTY COULD NOT BE ADOPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT...OTHER WISE.......

If Baba Ramdev gives one statement it becomes a topic of debate. why there is no debate on what our PM has said " there was no option left for the government than to take police action against the protesters at Ramlila maidan" that should also be debated here. When a person feels insecure in his own country, when his own government becomes his enemy what sort of statement he would give? He has made a statement but that doesnt mean he has made an army, I wish if India has an army for the protection of HUMAN RIGHTS of the people especially for women. What Baba has said is wrong but what PM has said is also not right.
