Ban IPL to save cricket, says Bal Thackeray

Lets focus on point whether IPL should be banned or cricket should be banned? As almost all the argumenst you have put forward applies for cricket too. Like Encourages private income, No benefits for common man
,No benefit for the country as a whole, Wastage of money, Biggest fools & losers are the common man, etc etc. All the arguments put forward are true of crocket also. Byt lfe is not only common man, business, work, worship, etc etc. There is a place for relaxing, entertainment,time-pass,cool off,releasing pent-up energies etc, etc. Is it not true? Will you ban all of them and beome a theocratic state, an autocratic state, dictatorial state, disciplinarian state? No, of course not. We are a democracy and there is a space for all thoughts and arguments. There should be space for many a activities, even betting9 betting or even prostitution is legal in various countries!). Till the other day, when IPL was going great guns, the same people who are critical of MOdi were speaking on the rooftops about the merits, brand valuations, marketing sucess etc, etc of IPL, where were you? The concept or the branding of IPL is not bad. The cornering or wealth or vested interests of some oeple, the cornering or benfits of the mighty and infuencials is bad, that should be tame, not IPL or cricket. Is it not true that out of the overall spending by the government of India only the 15% reaches the targeted people and the rest is gobbled up by the system. Will you then stop govt spending? The same is true for family planning efforts by the governemnt, should the govt stop family planning efforts? The instances are many. In short the correct thing is to get rid of culprits and put then to task but dont try to rob the brightness of IPL.

Cricket actually work as an entertainment package. if this scam seems to put a picture of making money n spreading black economy etc than the movies should also be banned. actually the flaws should be amened rather banning. n if theres something to be banned in india than its definately BAL THACKERY 

Why not make it more professional,,,more transparent,,,people in India love watching it,,,,why should they suffer,,,to ban is not the solution I think.
