"Yeah.. In my view the entrance test is needed for sure to screen the applicants based on their knowledge. But, still it need some enhancements like: removing of the communal reservations. so that the firms can earn talented people and also talented persons will get an offer to prove themselves."

it will surely help in screening eligible candidates plus a clear-through standardized recruitment across PSU/PVT/MNC banks. But believe ICICI has tied up with Manipal Academy. So will such students supercede BCEE candidates? To be seen ....

I think we need this. But there has to be some reason for which it is not yet implemented.

NO, it may be useful for filtering the candidates, but not at all a good method for selecting, since good candidates may also be left by the banks. Bcet, contains, logical reasoning, arithmetic, English grammar, giving answer to multiple choice questions in seconds time which come by practice, is enough to select people who has to work with ERP systems after job. the entrance exam conducted and job performance and its practical implementation is totally different. I saw many banks calling professional like, CA,ICWA,CS, for specialist positions, and they asking them to write the written test which contains above subjects, which is very foolish. If you need a professional, you have to test him in his professional domain to deeper extent if required to meet your job qualities. only a person who passes verbal reasoning, arithmetic tests can only do the job others cannot do if banks think in such a way we can't do anything. our approach should be changed. we have to test the qualities like, hard working, responsibility delivery, accountability, professional knowledge etc., these ingredients make every person career brighter as well as organisations future too not BCETS.

The BCET may simplify the recruitiing procedure for the banks but the candidates will be losers. Because now one can write entrance/exam conducted by the different banks at different times, one has the chance to perform better in any of the examinations as the exposure to the type of examination gets the candidate acuqainted with and can prepare accordingly for the next exam better than the previous one. The chances improve, similarly the requirements of different banks differ on the type of business they do as banks are entering into every conceivable business.
