What do we mean here by keeping data on website...

We all have 2 have our data somewhere .... website is just a means by which you acess that data and we have various ways of securing the data transfer

I do not think that it is a great option to keep customers data on web-sites, recently it was observed that SBI India's greatest bank's web-site was hacked. So if that can be done then definitely data can be manipulated.

I think my friend is forgetting one thing int his regard though the web-site was hacked but there was no data loss.

I support Ms prasthana argument. that keeping the data on website is not a good method.

If there was no data loss in one scene then do we have to wait for the worst to happen, I think the clear indication where my friend was trying to draw the attention was towards that there security is at stake with that kind of web-sites.
