Self-regulation, self-restraint, self-contentment, self-righteousness are sine-qua-non for corruption-free world! Even if we point finger at others, three folded fingers are pointing towards us and the thumb pointing upwards referring to Almighty who is witness to our wrong-doings!

It starts from individual but it is only together that we can make a difference. Everyone has to contribute and then only we will get a cumulative result..

Growing corruption menace - a social pathology - can be crippled its growth by every individual exercising not to corrupt anybody mentally or materially. The togetherness to fight the corruption needs, a group of such like-minded people. I see, thus, the basis to reduce corruption is based on individual's effort. More the individual vows & takes initiative to curb corruption, the better the level of corruption comes down.

Many a times , we see individuals are forced to be partner for corruption. Had there been an initiative comes from the individuals, not to yield to  / give corruption, this partnership to corruption growth can be considerably  reduced.

This evil can at best be minimized by concentrated  & consistent effort of individuals. Laws & other social  elements support, these individuals.

Self improvement is necessary. Now days, people like to join goverment jobs just to earn some extra 'MALAIDAR INCOME' & not to serve the society. This culture is also touching in private sector slowly. First, we have to know & do 'SELF CONTROL' on ourselves. Then, when we get rid of greed of 'MONEY and POWER', we can decide better decisions for the welfare of the society and country. That's the end of corruption.

Mr. Anup Sharma, suggestions are for others not for us. Lol. Everybody knows what he is, but he try to find out the faults of others. It is the human tendency. Change need to start from you, me and we. We can make a difference as Sulagna said. But as already informed, suggestion is for you not for me to follow. Lol again

Yes Sulagna well said, but in reality it is very different because nobody knows rule by this way, they act only when punished. So the punishment should be more harder.

As such the topic is define elements of leardership of group or a society working to fight coouption common goal.It is well said an initiative to be made by individual.Again it depends on the goal which should one that should be interest of people you wish to invite them to contribute. Thus the bargaining power of individual cause to produce corruption.I will propagate message that long-term view is always yield better outcome that short-term benefit of invidual.

It is easier said than done. When we see Police hawaldar doing duty for 12-15 hrs in difficult conditions and situations for meagre salary of 10000-12000 without proper housing and social needs. How this can be equated with ministers, babus promoting corruption who are from the above layer of social justice. The point is not to glorify anybody's corruption but I think 1 shoe cannot fit for all.

Thanks,Sulagna for referral. Perhaps, your perception for togetherness is very vital to destroy the BOC.The self individual will be motivated if he or she has supports of people of common thinking.

Transparent governance  system coupled with high economic growth shall be the determining factors for reducing poverty, corruption and many other diseases which have crippled this country. If systems and processes are simple, efficient and easily accessible, they shall do more good.Corruption has spread because of lack of competetion, poor management and few resources at hand.Economic growth and E-governance measures are weapons to fight this manance.Lokpal is can be effective at top level only, that only when higher authorities have some credibility, for removing the corruption at lower levels,we need constructive, simple and visionary steps.
