If to talk about external Beauty, It is nothing to do with talent and impression. In call center the employee will talk and will deal on the mobile or phone. it is not shown to the customers how beautiful the employee is, But if an employee is not good in communication/ knowledge how will she/he will deal with customers ? So beauty can effect about 2-4% in call center , just to gather the crowd to talk and gossip. but if to talk about work and performance, person having true knowledge is winner . And first impression is not last impression. Sometimes we cant realize the capabilities of particular person just by watching or visiting him/her. But when we start to work with him/her we come to know his real strength. Not applicable only in call center but in all industries. Thanks

I fully disagree with statement that "Beauty is factor to get selected in call center"

Beauty in What? Internal or External? Internal features will help us to achieve our goals. Our knowledge, ability is more important than external beauty... And how can you connect it with the call center? In call center your voice beauty is more important than facial.......

Beauty in the sense that one nust have a beutiful voice.. Customers get attracted to female voice, if I am not wrong.Externa or Internnal isnt any issue over here at all.Please dont divert..

in a call centre, it is the voice and how you modulate your voice that matters. Beauty has no direct connection at all. except perhaps to the clown running the call centre, and the other colleagues.

In voice call centres, voice clarity, eassy flow of communication, good temparement and helping attitude etc may be of prime consideration - not beauty.

The question maker did not elaborate/ clarify :

-- by saying beauty, he might have ladies in mind

-- beauty loosly means "external" beauty.

Our lady bloggers might let us know their experiences. Incidentally, if in a rare case,  a Lady candidate possess both talent and beauty, she might be fitted anywhere .... perhaps not in "Call Centres".

In any proffesional servise centre like BPO. Internal quality, capability and knowledge should be the major factor.

Further presentation need internal selkf confidence e.g to speak with confidence, to carry yourself. Zero confidence with external beuty does`nt make any sense.
