In the present situation getting  job is very difficult due to huge competition. So it is better to take a break and prepare yourself for a better job. So being jobless for a period is not a sin but if you are wasting time siting simply then it is a sin.......

need not necessarily be but the repercussions on your savings being diminishing without earning for one thing while on the other you lose further accumulations on your PF etc., during the period of your unemployment. However wealthy you are sitting at home idle without any regular earnings is something not so sensible according to me.
