This is nice!! I support yes for a simple reason. All humanoids posses a "BIOLOGICAL CLOCK". this clock ticks only one way and it has an automatic voluntary response (ALARM SYSTEM) which is ingrained in our bodily behavior... Its the restlessness that is caused in us during early morning hours!! This is the trigger for our mind to know and understand that the process of breaking DEAD CELLS and making NEW CELLS is COMPLETE and you need to wake up!! If you can experience this phenomenon, believe you me you will love to be a morning person! What you accomplish in a day you will never accomplish in the night and worse, if you force yourself to do it in the night, you will find that you are a recipient of acidity attacks, pangs of hunger, headaches etc. So be a morning person accomplish your work at hand and leave for the day in the evening!

The main idea is to get work done on time & if anybody is comfortable by doing it till late night then it's ok & if anybody finds comfort while starting it early in the morning then it is also fine. Basically it is an individual's choice & mainly depends upon the nature of work. Thanks for referral, Dipika.

Not really. Because its one’s mental & physical ability which makes him/her productive, also it depends upon one’s routine which is fixed for their work. In BPOs late night work is the requirement where as in Banks one has to be productive in morning. And what about productivity of people who are into Journalism? May be it’s my perception. But being morning person doesn’t really make you more productive.

Yes in good old days the saying was be a morning person. With time it has changed and I feel it do not effect productivity in work in any way.Â

What is the measure of productivity? If it is 24 hrs then the morning and late-night persons are equally balanced. Though it is advised that we should endeavour to try and keep early morning hours, those with extended working hours or frequently crossing time zones for business find it very difficult to cope. I personally feel that we should be adapted to a daily work cycle that best suits our disposition - I would'nt be too rigid in this idea (btw all of us at home are awake by 05.30 a.m.) but we have seen relatives/associates from other countries struggle to maintain punctuality and rest hours.

Thanks for your Ms. Dipika. Being a morning person may scientifically help you to be strong. But it’s not work if you slept at late night. Even your strong enough for the work, the productivity is not only depends on the strong person it also depends on the tools we needed for production. Like a sharpened Axe on woodcutter hand. If the Axe is not sharp there is no productive even woodcutter is too strong. Being a morning person is just a habit and it is not related to productivity anymore.
