I totally agree with the Topic as the more usage of Public Transport increases, the more need for Fuel will reduce comparatively, which reduces the extra weight from govt. as 80% fuel need in India is met through Import, as the extra weight of subsidy reduces, will cause in reduce of fuel price,(also save fuel for future) and fuel price reduce will cause in reduce price of many daily usage products. So by using public transport we can overcome Price hike also....

But the main thing needed is the better Public Transport, which make life easy rather than a nightmare.

If we can design better Public Transport system,no more there will be any need for Individual cars. Less cars will keep the environment more healthier.
