Biodeisel is being now considered as the future fuel and replacement of the conventional source of energy. It is already being used in large scales in US, Europe, Japan etc...India has also shown interest in this regard and has launched Biodiesel policy recently.Foreign manufacturers ahve also shown interest in plant setup in India.  What is the future of biodiesel projects in India and wiil it be accepted over petroleum and diesel?

In my opinion, biodiesl is the real substitution for the conventional source and in respect to the environmental problems. Govt is also keen towards it and showing much required interest in this regard. It is really a go green fuel with more requirement of R&D in this field. India has always been considered as a cheap source of labour and has always attracted MNCs. Thats why many manufacturers are keen to invest in India in this field and ready to manufacture here. It will also help in cost effectiveness as petrol and diesel have shown regular hike in cost.
