Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going the Congress way and is opting for a generational change in its organizational structure as it attempts a youthful makeover. The initiative led by L.K. Advani, is expected to gain momentum after a meeting of the top BJP leadership later this month.

As congress had many youngsters in their ranks in the Elections which were held recently was a pleasant surprise, and led by Rahul gandhi, and others, even youngsters got Ministerial ranks like Agatha Sangma, and many more, so taking a cue from the congress, even BJP is doing the same thing and said that it is their longterm vision. But with most of the BJP is having only senior politicians and that to who are more than 70 years and this young and old combination is a very tricky thing for BJP.

So people what do you think will this work out for them or will this backfire for them?

BJP is not going to get the previous status ,unless the party come again with old agenda and fulfill the old promises ,for this party will have to promote narendra modi and varun gandhi,on which voters have shown confidence also.

BJP has to come up with youthful ideas

But it definitely should not go away from the foundation on which it was formed. It can not move out from nationalist approach however difficulties it faces to keep it...

If it goes away from it's foundation--then it won't remain BJP.

So they have to come out with innovative thoughts--but keeping a step on the ground.

A CONFUSED THOUGHT WILL NOT CARRY YOU A GREAT DISTANCE.BJP SHOULD DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL PRO HINDU RASTRA OR NOT.

THOSE WHO ARE FOR IT SEPERATE AND FORM A PARTY.

THOSE WHO ARE IN FOR A INCLUSIVE SOCIETY FORM ANOTHER.

THIS TOUNGE IN CHEEK MENTION IS HARMING IT.PEOPLE FEEL CHEATED BY THE PARTY.AND MUSILIMS DO NOT VOTE FOR BJP.SO WHEN ELECTIONS ARE ALL ABOUT NUMBER OF VOTES.

YOU HAVE 16% VOTES AGAINST YOU ALREADY..OR VOTES OF ROPPOSITION.AND ANOTHER SET OF PEOPLE WHO FEEL SHEATED AND USED .THE RESULT SURE SHORT LOSS OF ELECTIONS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.UNLESS BJP SETS ITS THOUGHT CLEAR.

BJP has taken a right decision but it should have done this much before. Today country needs fresh young blood. So it will opt for youths only. Today, the majority of population are youths. So its better all the old politicians should give their responsibilities to young bloods with fresh new ideas.

Friends BJP can not go the Congress way even if it wants or tries.

Congress is and shall remain in better control as it is one family headed and detractors stand no chance.

BJP on the other hand will keep facing internal dissidence due to its democratic structure and many trying to be the leader problems.

The powers that Soniaji wields can surely not be compared to Gadkariji's you will agree and a vast  majority have yet to learn to appreciate and respect democracy.

I don't think BJP is going to change the way it functions for a very long time, and i don't see them giving chance for youngsters and agree upon their ideas that they will bring with them and the youngsters don't believe in the fundamentals of the BJP which they set and the way they go about their job in this regard, this will surely backfire for them.

I think the Young and the Old will surely not gel in BJP as they still have the attitude of Hindutva, religion based politics which doesn't go well with the Young India, and this is the reason that they lost election and if they want to have youngsters in their ranks then they have to change in the first place, same old politics is not going to good to any of them for that matter and most of the youngsters would face problems with senior politicians as there will be idea clashes and there are far too many senior politicians i mean very very senior politicians and i don't think they will gel as the congress has done.
