On a regular basis We are seeing more and more celebrities getting into blogging and there is a reason for it, they believe that the information contained in Blogs is more reliable than the print news media. This is startling or somewhat surprising, But then one has to admit that one who reads the newspaper is always having a nagging suspicion and a bit of doubt about the content the news media is providing. And even more surprising is that more people i know are not even bothered about reading news papers nowadays, So what do you think whoom should we trust the Blogs or the News media!!

Yes I trust on news media especially print media. Nowdays electronic media especially TV is doing irresponsible. Why I support news media, they maintain objectivity, they are not diluting own views in the news. One can access every kind of news and he can discuss on that with full confidence and one can talk authentically. In blogs one can't to this even blog writer change thier words, the example is Kunte's blog who condem in his blog to Barkha Dutt and NDTV24*7 regarding Mumbai attack coverage. Now he is apologised with NDTV and get back thier words. So this is the story of blogs, people afraid with their writings but news media is dare...

Blog,No doubt a part of Media as what we mean by media is a platform where any one and everyone can exchange views about anything. However the accesibility of blogs to one and all makes it more realistic and trustworthy.....

In my view, everything has pros and cons and same is the case with news media or blogs.Today where there is increased competition between various channels in electronic media,I believe that has led to sometimes showing false information to general public in order to increase the TRPs......and in case of print media also one cannot be fully sure that the news that has been printed is 100% authenticated...........Talking about blogs I would say that blogs are the medium where people express their feelings and opinions and famous personalities also use it as to clarify things about them printed in the media which may or may not be true......so one cannot choose media or blogs as neither of them is completely trustable.

I belive in using the Online media. We all here are on a Social Networking site debating about various issues. Dont we look at those sites which give information?

Online Media is growing very fast. Using Online Media to generate Qualified leads is cost effective way of generating interest and helping the sales improve in this rescission period. But just advertising on Print/Television/Online(Web) would not help much to B2B.

I do agree to Awadesh, news media is more authentic than Blogs. In blogs, people write what they feel about the news and hence it is diluted whereas news media reports directly to the people and hence the news media is more vibrant and gives the actual feel of the happenings.

I won't trust on blogs as these are the personal entities and one can mold it in his/her favor. News Media is somewhat autonomous entity, where no one can twist with real facts.

According to me i still go with the good old news papers and the news media and they are the one who are giving us news that is happening all around the world till date, but then one can't ignore the fact that the sudden rise of blogging that has taken shape really well, so the most of the youth and others have taken into blogging due to the emergence of internet like anything, and by blogging one is making sure that his or her voice is heard in the crowd. But I am very much satisfied with the News media and i trust them for their content.

A statement / comment made on the net is a weblog popularly called 'blog'. People like you and me blog. They blog for reasons of extreme emotions, happiness / anger. It all has to do with being satisfied at the way 'you' have been dealt with; 1. Customer Service, 2. Product purchase adn most of all the cost paid to get what you deserve!!

Blogs can be very influential because of the emotion that is attached to it. Anger and Happiness are both addictive and 'VIRAL'. Blogs are a much better attention seeking logs written with human emotion and most certainly 'grabbing attention'.

I too support Mr Gopinatha, Blogs do not worry about TRPs so they put the real story without any flavouring.

No according to me Blogs have become more popular for a reason right, it can be more trusted because people will view what has happenend really there and based on facts and through internet they are blogging, but then the news media how many times have you seen misquoting and by this which has become more than a minor issue, and there are so many channels and so many media formats, that there is dearth of quality reporters that are there in the country and moreover the reporters are negotiating the deadlines given by the editors and they are more in a hurry to collect any news but not the quality content,  but in the blogging one has no such pressure and one can create his own headlines and give quality content on the net. so Blogs are much better than news media.
