Bollywood soundtracks on pen drives and SD cards: Will this stop Piracy?

Not at all, a thief knows various ways of stealing. And when it comes to technology, we have highly professional thieves roaming in our market. When CDs and DVDs came out, it was a latest technology of those days, the pirates just knew the technology and they started piracy. With this latest technology, they will also start knowing the whole technical process and thereby will do an improved style of "Pen drive Piracy".

This will not stop piracy tooo and also the pen drives and sd cards are temporary storage devices , life of these devices are limited

The basic reason for piracy in Music/Movie industry is :

Huge difference between cost of original and the pirated copy and non availability of original in huge volumes.So one way to stop the piracy is to reduce the price difference between original and pirated copy to that extent so that it becomes economically unviable to sell pirated copies with the corresponding risks involved .

This loss in terms of price difference has to be compensate  by increased volume sales.

I cannot think of any other way because movie/music Industry is not like any other Industrial/consumer product where you can easily differentiate betwen the original and duplicate and you are willing to pay the extra price for original. Movie/music is a short duration product where there is hardly any difference betwen original and duplicate and hence if the price differential is to much then no body will be willing to pay the extra price.
