as a boy i would always say boys the effort they put on works, handling pressure however girls r not far behind also, around 40% of employee in IT sector r females which is the highest in India, girls r capable of multitasking, a symbol of patience, dedication, caring at work

it is an controversial topic. i totally agree with mr. manoj that in this era of liberalization all are free to work. all give their 100% commitment to achieve the goal (organisational and also personal). so there is no difference between a girl or a boy , everybody are doing their best in their own respective field.

C'mon grow up,come out of this fight of superiority or inferiority, both the girls and boys are good in their respective areas, there is no demarcation or water tight differentiation of who is better or what in certain field or discipline.Be mature enough to associate with girls and accept their presence, appreciate their efforts and salute their multi dimensional personalities. No bias to boys, they are as good as ..................... you can understand.

Yes boys should be preferred for IT jobs than Girls coz it is not that they are good but for demanding nature in that field/ the working hours it is better to prefer boys compared to girls. Also IT needs some logical reasoning where as the female biology is more emtional than logical. Mostly the boys are left brainee and girls are right brainees the creative and emotional.

I would certainly agree with Kannan. If we look at Indian IT scenario,then most of the industry works on outsourcing to US and other countries, which involves IT ppl to work in night shifts in order synchronize with timings of other countries.Girls do work at late, but as Shikha said they have household role also to play, they cannot exert that much as boys.Girls may be good at brain, no doubt, but still there are some things which restricts them.

The pereference is certainly for boys in IT, as the issues with girls are: 1. Staying late in the office or at times providing night support when there arises a production issue, is certainly an inconvenience for girls. 2. The organization has to be cognizant of the following risks with girl employees: - They may leave the organization when they get married, either to to be a home maker or to be located in a city where the spouse is located. - Similar risks during pregnancy and even after child birth.

It is my opinion. The Are 100% better than girls in Information Technology.
I prove this.suppose both are give one task for the programming related.
First one boy : They will have completed the task as soon as possible. They shall not take a rest if the work not completed.
But Girls are very Smart : First one they will take some time to complete that work. for ex. they discussed some person, How to complete this task this is a very hard for me, i can't do this task a very small time. It's take a lot of time. These type of thinking all girls.
The moral of story Girls are takeing a lot of time to that completed.
& boy... You know very well..
then keep voting for boys...

Hello boys, Girls are the best ,boys don't have any home work when compared to girls, It has taken long time to increase the status of women.In ancient era, women are not allowed to show their talent and they were locked in home and slaved by her husband that she made only to serve work to her family and Dr Muthu Lakshmi Reddy born in 1886 is the first women doctor in India, because her parents allowed to show her talent and now a days every women getting this chance and they are willing to work anywhere at the same time they also manage their home work ,actually women got break in career only after her marriage and she looks for her children and husband ,moreover women want care and relationship and men want money. I agree more men are in top position but w/o women they can't reach that position.
