Kashmiri Pandit voices reach the US Congress FACT exhibit on display in the Rayburn Congressional Building Foyer. An exhibition on Kashmir and the plight of Kashmiri Hindus was on display in the Rayburn Congressional Building Foyer in the nation’s capital on July 11th and 12th, 2005. The exhibition depicts the effects of terrorism on the Hindus of Kashmir, known as the ‘Pandits’, who underwent a near genocide in 1990 due to violence from international terrorism. The exhibition received bipartisan support from Congressional leaders and was attended by concerned citizens and leaders of various communities and organizations. This was the first opportunity for most Americans to see an exhibition on the plight of Kashmiri Hindus. Representatives Frank Pallone (D-NJ), Joseph Crowley (D-NY), Joe Wilson (R-SC), and Jim McDermott (D-WA) each addressed the audience after viewing the exhibit in detail. Ambassador R. S. Jassal, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, was also present. Francois Gautier emphasized that Western journalists and human rights groups have long neglected the atrocities and injustices on Kashmiri Hindus by Islamic terror groups. "In the year 1900, there were one million Kashmiri Hindus, and today there are hardly few hundreds left in the valley, and about 400,000 of them are living as refugees in their own country," Francois remarked. Yossef Bodansky, Director of Research at the International Strategic Studies Association and senior editor for the Defense and Foreign Affairs group of publications, followed as speaker. He had raised concerns as early as 1993 about the threat of global Islamic terrorist groups to the world community, based upon his research of the decades-old Kashmiri issue. He stated that as long as the ISI (Inter Services Intelligence, the Pakistani intelligence agency) maintains an active terrorist program to support Taliban and Kashmiri jihadis, there is no possibility of the Kashmir issue being resolved peacefully in the near future. Furthermore, he pointed out that there is already too much invested by pan-Islamic terrorists to simply abandon their jihad at this time. Representative Pallone stated that the FACT exhibit was the first of its kind to visually depict the terrorism in Kashmir. He expressed concern about the lack of visible efforts to safely return the displaced Kashmiri Hindus to their homeland, although that remains the paramount concern of this group of people. He pledged to speak to the Prime Minister of India during his visit next week about this issue. Representative Joseph Crowley emphasized to the audience that we must ensure Kashmir remains a part of India. Commenting on the India-Pakistan relationship, he mentioned that Pakistan is trying to avenge the loss it suffered in Bangladesh by promoting terrorism in Kashmir. Dr. Vijay Sazawal, President of Indo-American Kashmiri Forum (IAKF), appropriately asked "Have we learned anything yet?" after pointing to the works of Charles Krauthammer, the late Mary McGrory, and the bi-partisan efforts of Representatives Rob Andrews and Bill McCollum in the early 1990s to raise awareness about the same issue in the U.S. “This was well before September 11, 2001, and well before everyone actually believed that there was a jihad underway in Kashmir.” He further said, "In the words of Ms. McGrory: In Kashmir, an earthly paradise, blameless people are suffering hellish persecution not for anything they did but for being who they are. The Kashmiri Pandits, the Hindu minority that has lived in Kashmir for 5,000 years, would like to go home."

Congress’s dangerous communal game: Will it cause a Hindu backlash? | The recent ‘Mood of the Nation’ poll by this website has revealed that the Congress party is perceived to be utterly corrupt by all sections of the electorate, the lone exception being that of Muslims. (Read the Poll here) http://bit.ly/lKwpdf The questions naturally arise: why is the Muslim community out of sync with the nationwide trend, and is not the community equally affected by mis-governance and galloping corruption under the Congress-led UPA government? The Muslim community is well aware that this government has done precious little for their welfare. But now the Congress is seeking to appease them, by on the one hand targeting symbols of the Hindu community, and on the other by courting extreme elements among them and making shocking comments that appeal to their baser sentiments. And, it seems that Muslims have lapped up every cynical action of the Congress government at the Centre. The latest example is the merciless beating up of Baba Ramdev’s supporters in Delhi. The Manmohan Singh government has also been punitively targeting Hindu organizations and the Narendra Modi regime in Gujarat mainly to appease Muslims. All these provocative actions are part of a well orchestrated strategy drawn up by Rahul Gandhi and his political advisers to consolidate the Muslim vote in Congress party’s favour in order to achieve a near majority for his party in the 2014 parliamentary polls. The strategy of wooing Muslims seems to be working as the Congress party’s appeal and support among Muslims has risen substantially in the past three years. It is another matter that the Congress party’s image among the general public has taken a big knock nationwide due to the series of scams that it is embroiled in. As a part of this strategy, the Congress party has let loose Digvijaya Singh to mount a verbal offensive against everything that the Muslims hate. As Rahul Gandhi’s stalking horse and chosen man to lead this mission, Digvijaya commiserates with the families of alleged terrorists in Azamgarh, abuses the Sangh parivar, refers to Bin laden as “Osamaji” and calls Baba Ramdev a thug and worse. |

LK Advani slams Congress' Gandhi brand fixation Free Newsletter Sign up Kolkata, Jul 11: Taking on the Congress' affection for dynasty politics, senior BJP leader LK Advani slammed the party's attempts to project the Gandhi family brand by spending crores for the same. He also added that the Gandhi's were trying to replace democratic rule with dynastic rule. Speaking on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary function of Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee who is the former deputy prime minister, Advani upped the ante against the Gandhi family by saying that there were close to 450 central projects that were presently underway in the names of Nehru, Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi. He continued his tirade and commented, “Crores of rupees are being spent to project a family brand. Is this democracy? Democratic rule is being converted to dynastic rule". On the forgotten hero, Mookerjee on whose behalf the function was organised ,Advani said, “his birthday was on July 6. But did the All India Radio broadcast any special programme on the occasion? It seems the Independence of the country and its subsequent development has been brought about by only one family and no one else." Further raising points on the Congress' Gandhi-fixation, Advani stated that he had also pointed out this fact in Parliament and said that five new projects were named after Nehru, Indira and Rajiv. He added, “I asked the Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) who was in the House whether there was no one else in the country after whom the projects can be named. I told him, if you cannot find anyone, then why not name a project after the prime minister who made you the finance minister?"

MAHATMA GANDHI WAS MOST UNDEMOCRATIC 1. Mahatma Gandhi is not the Sole Authority of India, he was a very Undemocratic Person, In 1939, when Netaji Subash Chandra Bose won the Congress Presidential Candidature, this Undemocratic Gandhi opposed him & Installed Pattabhi Sitaramayya.... 2. For the First Prime Ministership of India, Sardar Ballavbhai Patel got 14 out of 15 votes & Jawarlal got just 1 Vote, still this Undemocratic Gandhi opposed Patel & installed Jawarlal Nehru, which ultimately converted our Democracy in a Dynastic rule.......... Indira, Sanjay, Rajiv, Sonia, Priyanka, Rahula..... & so on... The most Unfortunate for India.. 3. On one hand, Mahatma Gandhi was talking about SWADESHI in India and on the other hand Nehru (Flirted with Lady Mountbatten), Indira & Rajiv also flirted in England, Fir be Mera Desh Mahan....... 74 Years old Anna Hazare is not Flirting, but fighting against Corruption It is a Pity that more than 50% of the our Indian population are illiterate and below poverty line, Tell me who is responsible... Congress has ruled our Country for 64-6=58 Yrs & BJP has ruled for just 6 Years... Now tell me who is more responsible, Congress or BJP, Just compare Atal Behari Vajpayee & Patient Manmohan Singh... ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE PROVED THAT BJP IS ONE NAME FOR 1. DEVELOPMENT 2. STABLE PRICES 3. ROADS & ALL INFRASTRUCTURES 4. WATER HARVESTING 5. CONNECTING RIVERS FOR SOLUTION TO FLOODS & DRAUGHTS 6. HONESTY & NO SCAMS AT ALL 7. SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY 8. PRICE CONTROL ETC. JAI JAWAN, JAI KISAN, JAI VIGYAN

Munshi Ramchand the biggest crime was done by undemocratic Government of India when they thrashed people at Baba's non-violent protest, the incident took place at midnight when the undemocratic police thrashed the democratic public in public. This is what we see in India, when someone burns a docoument you people say as a crime and when poor innocent public and women are thrashed in public you say it was necessary to maintain law and order. It happens only in India.

Madhya Pradesh BJP President Prabhat Jha said today slammed Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his controversial statements on Afzal Guru and said he had no right to continue in office. "I do not know how a person who has made such a statement can continue in office," the State BJP President told reporters here. Prabhat said it also indicated the thinking of Omar and about terrorists and terrorism in his own state Jammu and Kashmir. It was definitely not good for the country as a whole, he said.
How can a group of people from another country come here and assassinate a former prime minister and then go back as if they came for business trip.?. If that is "correct" according to Mr.Jha then attacking the parliament is also "correct". According to me " a wrong is a wrong irrespective of whether a hindu or a muslim or a sikh or whoever commits it". But according to the BJP and Hindutva people Hindus can kill anybody and it is not a crime but when non hindus does the same act then it is a crime. Double Standards at its BEST. No wonder this country is like this because of this stupid attitude of Hindutva people.

Bomb blast by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Sourcehttp://www.expressindia.com/latest-news/two-held-for-blast-in-thane-bomb-in-vashi/323787/ The state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Monday made its first major breakthrough in the two cases of crude bombs planted at auditoriums in Navi Mumbai and Thane recently, with the arrest of two men claiming affiliation to an organisation called the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti.
According to the ATS, the two were also involved in a minor explosion at a Panvel cinema hall screening the film Jodhaa Akbar in February this year. The two claim to have planted the explosives on their own and not at the behest of any organisation.
According to the ATS, the duo claim their attacks were planned in retaliation to the screenings of the movie Jodhaa Akbar and the Marathi play Aamhi Panchpute, as they felt these caricaturised Hindu deities and insulted Hindu sentiments. The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti had earlier staged protests against the screening of the movie and the producer of the play.
The arrested accused are Ramesh Hanumant Gadkari (50) and Mangesh Dinkar Nikam (34). They were picked up by the ATS early on Monday from New Panvel and remanded to police custody till June 24.
“They have been arrested in connection with the crude bomb planted at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vashi on May 31, and the bomb that exploded at Gadkari Rangayatan auditorium in Thane on June 4. They have been booked under the Indian Penal Code for attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means, and voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous means, and under the Explosives Substances Act. ... we have evidence that they are also involved in the small explosion that took place in a theatre screening Jodhaa Akbar at Panvel on February 20,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (ATS) Hemant Karkare.
“They have told us that they are full-time members of the Hindu Jangruti Samiti and the Sanatan Sanstha. However, we have not recovered any documents to prove their membership. They claim that they did not act on orders from any organisation. However, we are probing the possible involvement of the organisation. Office bearers have been questioned and more arrests are likely,” said Karkare.
Following the arrests, the Mumbai coordinator of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Uday Dhuri, insisted that the organization was not involved.
“Gadkari was not instigated to react this way by us. It was on his own that the idea occurred to him because of the portrayal of the Mahabharat in the play, and even when the police came to find him, we helped them,” said Dhuri. He added that though there are people having associations with both, the Sanathan Sanstha is independent of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti. The duo told the ATS that a combination of ammonium nitrate and gelatin sticks had been planted by them in all three cases. According to the ATS, Nikam was arrested in February 2006 in Ratnagiri, for allegedly throwing country-made bombs at the residence of a man who was believed to be conducting Christian rituals there.
The two accused operated from the Sanatan Sankul Ashram in Devegaon area of Panvel, where the bomb was assembled. Gadkari is a diploma holder in electrical engineering and was the one who prepared the circuit, while Nikam helped with sourcing the explosives, said police.

Throwing away your life for Hindu Terror - a sadhvi's story! sourcehttp://www.financialexpress.com New Delhi: Former ABVP activist and key terror accused Pragya Singh Thakur has told the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad that fellow radical Ramji Kalsangra was responsible for the September 29, 2008, Malegaon bomb blast which he executed using her motorcycle.
She has also told investigators that the casualty figure of seven in that blast would have been higher had it not been for a “faulty bomb timer”.
The Mumbai ATS recorded this statement on October 15, 2008, after Pragya Thakur did not reveal much in her two other statements on October 11 and October 12, 2008.
This statement, a copy of which is with The Indian Express, assumes significance as the Home Ministry proposes that the National Investigation Agency bring under its purview all terror cases involving alleged Hindu extremists, including Malegaon, Samjhauta Express and the murder of ex-RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi.
Pragya Thakur’s statement in Marathi focuses on a 30-minute critical meeting with Ramji Kalsangra — who had been using her Freedom motorcycle after the murder of Sunil Joshi in December 2007 — at the Mahakaal Dharmashala in Ujjain on October 8, 2008. Kalsangra has been missing since the bomb blast.
Thakur said she bought the vehicle (registered number GJ 05 BR 1920) from Surat in 2003 with financial assistance from her “rakhi brother” Sunil Joshi of Dewas. In November 2004, Thakur gave the motorcycle to Joshi for use for Rs 22,000. She said the motorcycle was never sold to Sunil Joshi.
Arriving in Ujjain after taking the night train from Indore, Thakur was received by Kalsangra’s aide Dharmendra. The meeting was fixed at the Mahakaal Dharmashala over a safe mobile phone handed over to Thakur by the Kalsangra aide at the railway station.
During the 30-minute conversation, Thakur says she asked Kalsangra about the motorcycle and asked him to come with her to Surat. The statement quotes Kalsangra saying: “I have used your vehicle for a bomb blast in Malegaon, Maharashtra.” When she asked him why did he do this, Kalsangra replied: “It happened.”
Thakur then said that she would have to go to jail as the vehicle was in her name. Ramji Kalsangra replied that she need not worry as he had changed the number-plate and filed off the vehicle’s engine and chassis number. He told her the police would find no clues.
According to her statement, Kalsangra told her that “two or three people” had died in Malegaon. Ramji said: “There was a mistake in timing of the bomb explosion. I tried to park the vehicle in one or two crowded places but could not do so. After this, I parked the vehicle at one place and left immediately. At that point, there was not much crowd in the vicinity and there was so much explosive packed in the vehicle that the entire rear-end was blown away.”
Thakur met the police inspector in Surat on October 10, 2008, with Kalsangra buying her a ticket to Surat and giving her another Rs 15,000 for expenditure.
In the statement, Thakur is also quoted as having said that she met Lt Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit on October 5, 2008 in Jabalpur. Purohit told her that he had orchestrated bomb blasts in Orissa, Karnataka and Maharashtra, “killing a large number of people.”
THE SADHVI & THE COLONEL
PRAGYA FELL OUT with Malegaon blast accused Col Shrikant Purohit over “money”, the Sadhvi has told the NIA. She said she met Purohit first in April 2008 at an Abhinav Bharat gathering.
PUROHIT sent text messages to associates saying “Singh has sung the song” after Pragya’s arrest, which, the NIA believes, could indicate that Purohit, Pragya and others were working together.

13 BJP-RSS men found guilty in Kerala bomb attack
Source:http://www.rediff.com/news/2008/nov/14-13-bjp-men-found-guilty-in-bomb-attack.htm
Kerala:All the 13 accused in a bomb attack on a house in 2000, in which three members of a family including a six-year old girl were injured, were found guilty by a local court in Kannur on Friday.
The Thalassery Additional Sessions Court (Fast Track-3) Judge B Ramakanth found the activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] guilty and said the sentence would be delivered on November 17.
The court found them guilty under various IPC sections including IPC 307 (attempt to murder) and Section 3 and 5 of the Explosives Substance Act.
The court dropped charges against the sixth accused K Pradeepan, following his death in a bomb explosion while handling crude bombs at Cheruvanchery last Monday.
The court examined 23 witnesses in the case.
According to the police, the incident occurred during panchayat polls on September 27, 2000, when a group of BJP/RSS workers threw a crude bomb when the girl was playing with her brother in front of her uncle's residence at Cheruvanchery.
The activists had assumed that some Congressmen were hiding in the house, a fall-out of the dispute between the rival Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress over electoral malpractices.
Besides the girl, whose right leg had to be amputated, her brother and mother were also injured. PS: Breaking away from dynastic rule, RSS will name the bomb factory in kerala as Nathuram Godse Institute for Bomb Making

Most Democratic Party called BJP Sourcehttp://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/story/bjp-big-guns-likely-to-fire-at-each-other-in-battlefield-up/1/143824.html Anxious to prove his mettle as the BJP president, Nitin Gadkari has marshalled many a senior leader in Uttar Pradesh with a view to regaining the lost ground ahead of next year's elections.
Kalraj Mishra. State unit chief Surya Pratap Shahi has been travelling extensively to attract upper caste votes, but Gadkari appointed party vice-president Kalraj Mishra as in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh affairs. Later, he reinducted Uma Bharti to rejuvenate the party in the state. His latest move to rope in former BJP chief Rajnath Singh for overall supervision has raised some eyebrows.
Though the state party leaders are keeping silent for now, Gadkari apparently doesn't understand that bringing these adversaries together would do the party more harm than good. It could be used as battleground for settling personal scores rather than a stage for performing in tandem and winning the assembly elections in style.
Rajnath Singh. Rajnath has claimed that his appointment wouldn't lead to groupism or create any confusion in the poll-bound state. Rajnath said, "UP is my home state and I should have the authority to work for the party in the elections. Why are people questioning my appointment?" Earlier, both Kalraj and Bharti had made similar noises, claiming that they were working towards the same goal and there was no friction.
But those reading between the lines know that the situation is far from what it appears to be.
"Rajnath didn't even tolerate L.K. Advani, let alone Kalraj and Uma, between himself and power. At the party's national executive in Lucknow on December 24, 2006, he couldn't hide his prime ministerial ambitions when Advani was generally believed to be the PM-in-waiting," a senior party leader said.
"Kalraj and Rajnath are the opposites of each other. In the early 90s, they had their own set of followers who used to conspire against each other. Their supporters are already fighting over who would become the CM if the BJP wins. Uma is honest but an egoist. The presence of so many leaders will only destroy our prospects in the state," he added.
Gadkari has also appointed Narendra Singh Tomar as the state in-charge. Samanand Singh and Karuna Shukla are already frequenting UP these days in their capacity as the party's "co-incharge" of the state.
In 2009, the BJP had fielded 71 candidates on the 80 Lok Sabha seats and 33 of them lost even the security deposit. The party could win only 10 seats and ended up as the runners-up on 11 seats.
State BJP's former president Ramapati Ram Tripathi said, "Our overall vote share had increased from 17.50 in 2004 to 22.17 in 2009. I don't deny there was some problem with our planning. The Congress and the SP succeeded in convincing the voters that we were non-secular."
Of course, he didn't mention that the number of BJP's seats tumbled from 88 in 2002 to 50 in the 2007 assembly elections and its vote share fell from 21 per cent to 17 per cent.
The obvious reason was that the many power centres in the state confused the cadre and the voters alike.
History of tussle
The Thakur-Brahmin angle to the rivalry goes back a long way
Kalraj Mishra and supporters have been nursing the grouse ever since the then minister's claim was overlooked to appoint Rajnath as the CM
The move to send Rajnath for 'Mission UP' is being seen as an attempt to curtail Mishra's freedom in ticket distribution.

U Turn and True Color..Shame Source:Indian Express 2011 Gujarat Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dilip Sanghani, a close lieutenant of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday slammed the Anna Hazare movement, saying the job of making laws rests with Parliament and no one can use the “mob” to force it to pass a Bill. “I don’t want to name anyone but nobody can force Parliament to pass a certain Bill or Act. Parliament is the supreme authority in this country for law making, no one can force it using the mob to pass any Bill. No individual or group can force it to act in a certain way,” the minister told reporters here. “What we have is a democracy and no mobocracy can replace it. Today certain people are using the mob to pressure Parliament to accept and pass a certain Bill, and that is not fair. If this is allowed then tomorrow some group could even use armed mobs to force Parliament to pass certain other Bills,” said Sanghani. “Parliament passes the Bills under the constitution and no civilian group or committee can challenge it. No one in the country can be allowed use coercion and crisis to get an Act they want passed.”

Punjab BJP Ministers in bribery case
While the Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday questioned two Bharatiya Janata Party Ministers of the Punjab Cabinet, Manoranjan Kalia and Swarna Ram, in the Rs.1.5-crore bribery case related to a controversial land deal, the arrested MLA, Raj Kumar Khurana, resigned as Chief Parliamentary Secretary, citing “moral grounds.”
Mr. Kalia, who holds the portfolios of Industries, Local Bodies and Urban Development, was accompanied by counsel when he reached the sector 30 office of the CBI, where a restive crowd of BJP workers raised slogans in his favour, against the CBI and the Congress high command. Senior officers of the agency questioned the Minister for nearly an hour.
Later, talking to journalists at the headquarters of the party’s State unit here, Mr. Kalia emphasised that he was neither avoiding the investigations nor was he named in the FIR registered in the case. He said he told the interrogating team that he had no knowledge about the case and had never dealt with the matter in any capacity.

Former Infosys CEO and chairperson of the Unique ID project Nandan Nilekani has criticised the Anna Hazare-led campaign as a “naïve” way to tackle corruption, and suggests that a Lokpal Bill can be only one of many instruments to combat corruption.
In an interview to CNN-IBN’s Sagarika Ghose, Nilakeni said that tackling corruption needed to be done in a “more holistic and strategic manner.”
Nandan Nilakeni says a Lokpal Bill is no magic bullet to end corruption. Dibyangshu Sarkar/ AFP Photo
The Jan Lokpal Bill is “absolutely not” a magic wand against corruption, Nilekani said emphatically. “I don’t know who is drinking this Kool-Aid. The notion that you pass some magical bill and corruption will go away is simplistic… That’s certainly not the way you should be thinking about this issue. “
“Áll of us want to do things to eliminate corruption in society and I fully sympathise with that motive and that frustration that people feel about corruption… But if you are going to do something about corruption, we have to do it in a much more broad-based manner in which this Lokpal Bill becomes one of many things.”
Nilekani stressed that he wasn’t saying there isn’t a need for a Lokpal Bill. “I’m just saying that a bill where you create a whole police infrastructure to eliminate corruption – without looking at the whole broad set of issues and fundamentally changing the way we deliver public services… That’s focussing on a very small part of the overall problem.”
“I’m very much for removing corruption, but the statement that this is the only way to do it to the exclusion of all other things is very, very impractical,” he added.

In Gujarat you are killed if you fight for justice ...
Posted On Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 02:34:56 AM Ahmedabadmirror
Even as people back Anna Hazare demanding a corruption-free India, one man quietly but determinedly filed a public interest litigation seeking appointment of a lokayukta in Gujarat. His anguish and agony is understandable. His young son was murdered sometime back opposite Gujarat High Court because he was using his right to seek information against the rich, powerful and politically connected mining mafia. Bhikhubhai Jethava, father of slain RTI activist Amit Jethava, says Gujarat is an unsafe place for all those who fight for their rights. “
Excerpts from an interview:
What made you file the PIL demanding a lokayukta?
My son had filed a PIL in 2008. There already is a law in Gujarat but the state government is deliberately not appointing a lokayukta. When my son filed the PIL, the state government assured Gujarat High Court of appointing lokayukta “immediately”. It didn’t happen. Hence this PIL.
What would you achieve by filing this PIL?
I feel pained. Everybody is carried away by the hype that Gujarat is vibrant. My son was fighting for justice. He was fighting against corruption and politicians. There are two reasons for filing this PIL: to continue my son’s fight against corruption and politicians, and to support the movement started by Anna Hazare. I have spoken to Anna several times on the issue.
How will lokayukta benefit the state?
What is the other way left in Gujarat at the moment to seek justice? Those who raise their voice against falsehood, injustice or corruption are eliminated. From Haren Pandya to Amit Jethava. What is the action taken against corruption and injustice under the Narendra Modi government? The institution of lokayukta is the only recourse left for common people like us to get justice and to fight against powerful politicians and corruption. Once lokayukta is in place, believe me, several ministers will be behind bars. Today, corruption has crossed its limits in Gujarat.
People can know where their leaders stand once lokayukta is in place. Until now, all of us thought Karnataka government was good. So much development and international investment has come to Bangaluru. But look what (BS) Yeddyurappa had done there. Worse things are happening in Gujarat but no action is being taken against those responsible. Lokayukta is Gujarat’s only hope to know the reality.
Have you received any threat?
I will be murdered. Isn’t that what happens in Gujarat when you fight for justice? What happened to Haren Pandya? It was a political murder. What happened to my son? Specially after this petition, my life is in danger.
How can you say there is corruption in Gujarat? The state is known for clean governance.
Corruption in Gujarat is different. Gujarat has traditionally been very progressive and rich. Right now corruption that exists in Gujarat is not only different from that in other states but dangerous. We are a border state. Still our government is sheltering and doling out land to industrialists who have been sent to jail for extortion or custom evasion.
My son was fighting to stop illegal limestone quarries. He had openly named BJP MP Dinu Bogha Solanki. He had proof. Still what happened? My son was murdered. Haren Pandya deposed before a people’s tribunal about Narendra Modi’s complicity in the genocide, that he was responsible for the death of hundreds of innocent people in 2002 riots. What happened? Modi became number one and Harenbhai was killed. This is Gujarat. It is sad that in Gandhi’s Gujarat we blindly support Anna but are ignoring corrupt and criminal politicians of Gujarat.

Anna is facing charges of corruption as per Justice Sawant Commission Report. The self proclaimed Gandhian used to beat up the villagers for consuming alcohol, is this the Gandhian way? Is there no police, courts or government? It shows he has no belief in Judiciary or executive.By burning the Lokpal Bill Draft and challenging the parliament he proved that he has no respect towards democracy. Team Anna says all the other systems are corrupt and inefficient. How can we presume that the would be Lokpal members will not be corrupt? Why BJP is supporting (Sponsoring) Hazare? BJP is a national party and has roots in every state. Cannot they do it as their own? They realized the fact that they cannot beat Congress in near future. Even the BJP leaders are not supporting the Lokpal Bill as proposed by Anna Team, but they are supporting the agitation, why?

Anna Hazare is Corrupt Justice PB Sawant Committee had found Anna guilty of involvement in a graft case. The Commission submitted its report on February 22, 2005 in which it criticised Hind Swaraj Trust for spending Rs 2.20 lakhs of its funds on the birthday celebrations of Hazare Maharashtra state government had appointed the Justice Sawant commission in September 2003 under the Commissions of inquiry Act 1952 to inquire into the allegations of corrupt pratices and maladministration against several people, including Anna Hazare. According to Sawant report "A portion of land measuring 11 Acres was admittedly alienated by way of gift in favour of the Zila Parishad without the permission of the Charity commission , contrary to section 36 of the act " The report cited that " the trust had committed an irregularity and also an illegality when it did not report both the acquisition of the land ,i.e. about 89 acres , and also the alienation of 11 acres out of it to the Zila Parishad , Ahmednagar."Also "the alienation was also without the permission of the charity commissioner ,which was illegal." The second allegation against Anna Hazare according to its report is that " About 2.20 lacs was spent in the year 1998-99 from the trust for celebrating birthday of Anna Hazare ". Shri Abhay Firodia , a businessman , gifted an equivalent amount to the trust subsequently .As per report "A defence was sought to be raised that since the entire amount spent for the celebrations was received by the trust subsequently, the trust is not entitled to spent any of its funds for the birthday celebrations ." Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari said the trust failed to submit its audits for as many as 20 years.

IF BURNING THE BILL IS A CHEAP PUBLICITY THEN MAHATAMA GANDHI WAS ALSO CHEAP WHO BURNED THE ENGLISH CLOTHES AND EMBRACED SWADESHI, MR ARDHENDU PAL We cannot compare Gandhiji with Anna Hazare...look who is with Anna Hazare - a thug called Baba Ramdev It is because of this kind of thinking that Murari and Company has, I wrote in another topic that the day is not far when Murari will write like this: " One sunny day Gandhi and Nehru fought with each other as to who should become the first PM of India. Gandhi refused to give up his claim for PM's post. An angry Nehru shot Gandhi and threw the pistol into a river. Our brave, patriotic and retired swayam sevak called Nathuram Godse jumped into the river and fished out the pistol. Immediately Sardar Patel who was passing by accused Nathuram Godse of killing Gandhi. Everybody believed Patel.

Burning the bill is again a cheap publicity gimmick from Anna. Now he is going too far in the protocol of demands. I personally don't feel Anna is eligible for the panel because we must be futurist in our approach and bring young people to the panel, but surprising there is only young member in it that too the greatest flatterer or "Chamcha" of Anna that is Arvind Kejriwal and no young faces. Now Anna is seeming to be the propaganda of BJP to create disturbance in the present government and this is an age old cheap technique used by parties. Yes I support this idea that Anna is a DEMOCRATIC CRIMINAL now and must be put behind the bars for the lectures of agitation or "Bharkau Bhashan"
