There are both sides of the coin. 'Job' lets you explore your skills and abilities, but the decisive factor to 'career prospect'however is your rapport with the bosses.Again in 'business' it can take years before your idea/product/services get noticed at all, particularly in a scenario where the big fishes always consume the smaller ones.Still,I believe 'business' lets you grow independently more than a job.

If it is possible for the persons to start up a business in that case one should do business. In India most of the people do not have an acumen for business. Most of the people feels job is better since from the very first day you are getting something. We should not forget that India were under British Rule for 200 years hence the mentality has changed to a great extent.

I am a strong suppoter of starting your own business. i read most of your arguments in support of doing business and job. My views are, one should live ones life in that way in which he/she remain happy and satisfied. It depends on a person's character and inner feelings which dictates his/her likeness towards job or business. In business, there is risk (no doubt about it), there is tension, and also require hard labour and a strategic mind to offbeat your competitors....but there is money and self satisfaction. Yes, you are your own boss. No one is there to tell you to do this or that, and scold or pat you for your action as in job. If You want to make money go for business. On the otherhand if you don't want to take risk, lead a monotonous life, with salary depending on your boss "yes or no", changing job throughout life (for those unsatisfied with their jobs)go for job....i have seen many who are so involved in their job that they forget what going on around them. Anyway, this is my own view. I once again say, this depends on person choosing his/her career. Many become highly successful in business and many in doing job. So, friends its upto to you now to decide...

business of-coarse is better one who goes for business is one who "feeds his nation" on the other hand the one who goes for job is the one who "feeds from his nation" if you take from the aspect of mind then business expands one's mind and opens up many ways for him to go ahead more successfully in your life while the job doing person is like the one who is stuck in his place and compelled to do what his boss says here, there is no chance for you to increase your mental skills

शरेयान सवधर्मॊ विगुणः परधर्मात सवनुष्ठितात सवधर्मे निधनं शरेयः परधर्मॊ भयावहः" 'sreyan sva-dharmo vigunah para-dharmat svanusthitat sva-dharme nidhanam sreyah para-dharmo bhayavahah' Instead of performing better for others, it is better to perform less than the average for your own (Its not the true meaning of the above verse- its only an adaptation). 1. The fear of losing always holds us back. 2. Averse to take risk again a contributing factor and go for relatively no-risk job. 3. Indian culture promotes the concept of "satisfaction" with what you have. This is a major factor holding us back on going risky way. 4. British who ruled India for 3 centuries installed a kind of education system and the successive Indian Govts. dared not to alter that produces the workers/clerks. 5. Thinking out of the box is a rare attitude of Indians. They go by traditional systems, so the rate of success is low compared to others. This one other cause. 6. The present set up of bureaucratic system squeezes a budding entrepreneur to grant permission/licence to float a business. This is another reason. 7. Lake of motivation from the family and society is one other reason for choosing a job rather than a business. However, my vote is for business, but I am working, lolz.

Both are necessary as one breeds the other, however we all must start developing experience, understanding of business, and what it takes to produce successful products and services. We need business in our world to be successful contributios to society, not just people with ideas on how to get fast cash. The latter creates debt, social, and community issues. So I say Job first and with growth and appreciation starting a business would be natural.

I think business is better option. U ppl tell me y v r doing a job, only just to get experience. Wat where v r using that experience JUST to empower other. See Money= Hardwork*Talent At somewhere talent got saturated, so the only way 2 make money is to increase ur hardwork i.e. The hours you r working. But 1 can work for maximum 1 hour. But the employer who is employing other exceeds this limt by doing so. For example: if 100 ppl are working 4 an employer & each one is spending 8 hours in job than they make it 800 for the employer, that is the basic thing which makes a lot of diffrence. So being a employer means hiring the outstanding minds that will use their talent for u. I think u all will be agree with me.

well that depends on individual , ask your self in what you will be happy about , earning money , if that's the case is it important for you to earn money or else it also matters how you earn money ...........both cases are valid like if you aim for a innovative job with a lot of talent all you need to concentrate is your skills and the money follows you , and in businnes it may be purely for earning money or position or name or fame in that domain market then also money matters,,,, so all i need to say is dont bother about money too much , aim for something high something pure from within , money will be always with you.

Amit I am in total agreement with you. One who has a clear vision and the roadmap to reach the destination actually becomes a sucessful business man like Sunil Mittal, who started with Rs 50000/- and today sign a cheque of Rs 50000 crore. Yes since most of the person knows how to start a business but not in a position to sustain those are the failures and since it is very risky so all most everybody start with a job may be .5% start a business but there are other people who starts business after gaining some experience and expertise of the business.

If will say that in job we have numerous fields for work and learn the things, so is same with business..in our own business u can get more chances to learn different things. I think every moment of life teaches us something new. So it depends how u learn it whether you are in job or in business. In other way business is full of risk and a middle class person who has limited money and limited resources can't do that but same time a service base person has only one limited source of income. So, he usually don't take such decision to do business instead of job. If wanna start business one should be enough daring to take risks.

Interesting debate. Firstly if you don't have the resource to start your own business then you definitely have to go for job. Secondly not everyone wants to get into business even if they can afford to. Thirdly both business and job has its own advantages and disadvantages. Finally everyone is entitled to his or own opinion so business or job.....your choice.

Jobs give security and stability for an individual. However, business also gives security if it crosses the threshold size for obtaining returns. But generally, the risk in business is more than a job. Additionally, people need to focus on additional factors as perseverance, network connections, money and most importantly a modicum of luck to get you through in business. Many people are not inclined to cross all these hurdles to be successful in business unless they have an innate passion to succeed and be an entrepreneur. Hence, many people focus on jobs as it is relatively easier to focus on a job even if it gives lesser returns. Finally, nowadays a high level job gives better returns than a low level business venture and the potential for both the job and the business to grow in the future is also high. Thus, an individual need to focus on which type suits him best for the future.....

Thanks for the referral Mr.Amit Madhav. We can not say which is best and it depends upon one's interest. Some like business and some like to be in service whether it is private or govt. It is left to the individual discretion. In business, risk bearing is there, of course return is also there. When business is on progress, there is no problem but at the same time it needs proper planning to sustain the difficult periods in business. Where as in job, one has to manage everything with the salary and the money flow will be not be adequate. It may please be noted that both business and job involves some problems here and there that can not be avoided. After all life is to struggle and otherwise there is no charm in life. Everything we have to take it as sportive which depends on how one play the game successfully.

I suppos job are better bcause first of all we should understand what type of business we are talking about if it is Rs 50,000 bucks in a month then I think no body should take so much risk that next month same earning would be there or not and if we are talking about big venture then please understand in today's world no body can become Dhirubhai or Bill gates as opportunities are very very very less and requirements to establish such business are very very very very high and risk is also on higher side, People here may talk about business started by some direct marketing companies so in that case if you see the average of successful people you will realize that earning 50,000 bucks by a secure way is far easier than earning 50,000 from a highly risky way with same or more efforts.

The purpose is more important. Job means, mostly considered as Service whether Private / Govt. Whereas Business means, a venture to earn money or gain profit. Obviously, Businees needs man, materials. And, Job there, remains an instrument to enrich the goal of the business owner. But, as a job, the individual offering service is paid off. So what you wanted to have is important. For money making, it is always business & for service , a job is preferred. Remember, in Job individual skill is the investment Whereas, in Business, primarily , money & resources required.
