"i just wanted to know from all sales professional,those are handling govt accounts for there company to sale or implement there product, can they commit there yearly or quarterly target of revenue generation from govt account in a limited span of time (As per time taken from the govt personnels to move file from one department to another deptt)

Govt. Accounts are more easy to handle ONCE the order is given. Unless the deliverable is totally full of non-conformities, payment is a distinct possible. This is because, Govt. companies budget lapses at the end of the year - budget is normally not allowed to be carried forward unless there is some commitment in this fiscal. 

Most Govt. companies will be after you - please submit your bills, please submit your bills.... towards the last quarter of the year.

I think it is quiet difficult to say your boss that,Sir, my XYZ govt account's cant come in this quarter because the file is not move from ab deptt to cd deptt.this all happens because of the working style of govt employees,officials come around 11- 11:30 having lunch time from 1 to 3 or 3:30, left the office by 5:00,and lastly they say"yaar govt ka process thoda slow hota hai"even after taking money from you also...and if also you really wants to implement a good product which really helps them you need to give them money..they really nt concern about the product is helpful or not but how much they get????
