India can take the lead. Sometimes people say that in time India could be as great as America. But I believe that they are wrong. In time India can be greater. It can be the greatest. It belongs to nations that deliver justice. It belongs to nations displaying the requisite moral strength. Nobody can stop India except Indians themselves.

I thought that it is quite possible in near future .. but conditions apply:-

  • we are to depart with : casteism, regionalism, illeteracy, nepotism, corruption, child-marriage (think of rural areas ),
  • we are to adapt : more infra development, mass education  and health-care for all, best work culture, fellow feeling,
  • we are to narrow down : wide gap of poor and reach, men and women ( in rural area, the scene is pathetic ) and the Zamindars/jotdars and the land-less etc etc.

Well its definitely a hot topic catching the attention of people from every domain but what exactly matters is that  we should believe in our actions and never limit our challenges rather than finding out that whether we can overtake America or not.The important thing is that we should  be concern about our growth development and  keep on moving ahead accomplishing new milestones that at the end of the day we would be much better and supreme than anyone else in the world.

without any doubt INDIA is on its way to be par above the meria in recent feature....the faith wht othere countries hav in our human potential...and the way how our companies doing well business in all feilds in other countries...is just sign of it...

resent comment from obama shows how much concern he is...and he could feel the heat....so its time for all of us to be on our toe and give our max to reach the goal and end this discussion of "can" but should "we are" soon....just wait and watch...

If optimism is the only way to get forward i go with Sarika that India will overtake America. But the economy as a whole needs to grow and mature. We still are decades behind in terms of infrastructure, transport systems, agricultural technologies, per capita income, unemployment, GDP, literacy rate, healthcare facilities, poverty, innovation, inventions etc. All this needs to improved with a timeline only then we can become a country stronger than America or any other country

Patriotically, yes seems to be everyone's answer including me. But is there any need of such thought ? Practically too yet america is far ahead in infrastructure, literacy rate, per capita income etc. I would say we are moving but still a long way too go and we are not tired yet.
