Agree India has a very good batting line up...its one of the strongest batting line up in the world, and can score more than 300 runs on a consistent basis.....but can they rely on their batting alone to win this world cup? whereas the bowling and fielding is not up to the mark at all.....

No, not at all, we saw in the last game where India scored 338 runs and England didn't even sweat it out in the middle and easily went about their task as our bowlers and fielders were all over the place and MS Dhoni chasing the leather all day....he couldnt get the field placing right and then the bowlers were so ineffective what can I say even my sunday team which we play regularly could have given a good beating to all these bowlers......I was shocked to see the bowlers bowl like this there was no effort they were not running hard enough and English batsmen making merry......338 runs was a winning total but India luckily managed to make it a draw.  What if you score 350 and if you have lame bowlers who cant even defend such huge score....its a shame....

India is going to win this world cup Just like that, its totally fixed stuff, you see circumstances are totally pointing towards their winning chances as 100%, cant discuss those circumstances here but everyone knows it very well...

Teams with all round performance can only win the world cup. Also its a question of peaking at the right time wherein all your players start contributing in one way or the other. But lets not rush and declare india out of contention or name others as winners. Lets hope and pray for all the players to peak and click at the right time.

Yash I have my doubts as well on India's wining the cricket world cup. Being home ground i give them 50% chance.

The winner will most probably either South Africa or Australia. They feel proud to play for their country.

With current bowling strength, it will not be possible, no matter what is your batting strength or it is @ no. 1 position.
