The Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar making it clear that the partnership can continue only if the BJP agrees not to engage Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and Varun Gandhi in the campaign for the coming assembly polls.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/75/Narendra_Modi_and_Nitish_Kumar.jpg

The chief minister has communicated to the BJP leadership in stark terms that the condition to declare Bihar off-limits for Modi and Varun Gandhi was non-negotiable, stressing that he would not flinch from going his separate way, and was ready to face the consequences. The demand presents the BJP leadership with a tough choice. It can choose to preserve the alliance but will have to pay a huge cost in terms of loss of face, reinforced perception of subservience to the partner, anger of an already annoyed Narendra Modi and resentment of the Hindutva hawks within ranks.

So users, do you think Indian politics can ever be ever be free from communal parties?

Hoping for a phoenix type politician who will remove the darkness in the darkest hours and won't come to light or take credit of doing good, just simply he will be working in the national interest.

I fully agree with Mr. Suryananaryan, our political landscape will slowly be rid of this evil. The younger generation do note care a damn for this dirty for this silly world of embitterment and frustration we carry from 1947.

NO OUR COUNTRY CAN NEVER BE FREE FROM COMMUNAL POLITICS TILL RESERVATION IS REMOVED FROM THE JOBS / EDUCATION SYSTEM. YES POOR SECTION OF PEOPLE MUST BE PROVIDED FINANCIAL GRANT BUT THEIR JOBS / EDUCATION MUST TOTALLY BE BASED ON  THEIR MERIT /. BUT THOSE POLITICIANS DON'T HAVE THE WILL TO CHNGE THE SYSTEM HENCE COMMUNAL POLITICS CAN NOT BE AVOIDED.

the common public in india themselves are divided into small communities. One community hates other, on the basis of their differences depending upon religion, caste, creed, color, language, state, town, regional god, higher class, upper middle class, lower  middle class, lower class, schedule caste, schedule tribe, people below poverty line (sigh!)...and endlessly many more.

So, any administrator/politician/businessman of the world, would be the biggest fool, if he doesnot make money on to these differences, and also dream of great political career ahead for him, his family, relatives and children.  :D

I don't think. Religion is the greatest weapon for politicians and in any place, minorities are best vote bank. And that too in a country like India, its impossible to demolish religion as its a sentimental attachment in people's mind. So I don't think Indian politics can ever be ever be free from communal parties
