There are many statements which look absurd because they are not analyzed properly. The question is simple and straight forward. Post a comment on the analysis that you support and comment less on the English part of it.

Well The two things are comparable but not the same. i think this topic is We can compare the human and machine? The thing is we can compare the two things. but if the two things have some same characteristic it does not mean they are the same. The working of computer is i think same as the human so the robots are possible. The topic is of huge conversation so i think we should not go too far.

Human's are human's not machine. We should always remember this thing that man created machine not machine created us.there will no days like in the film "terminator" in the real will be going to be happen,we are always very ahead of them.

a dinosaur egg replica isn't anything close to a real one...but if one is comparing then machines are expendable when put nest to human life. and hence they will be the reason we will be able to push our limits.

No way that machones can be compared to human beings, first of all the comparison itself stands infront before we get into machines and human beings. As machines can sense and detect but certain features it lags and do human beings. Its not yet all compared to it vice-versa. About AI, agree they are trying there best of of it to make it possible with its similarties and etc.

A machine can be made to live on moon for years if fabricated properly. Can human beings do the same? A Camera can zoom in objects which are far off and we can pass infinite comments on the object easily. Can we do it with the incredible two eyes that we have?Machine software crashes because we have not programmed it properly. It is our mistake. How can we hold a robot responsible for a crash when it does not even know what it has and what it is doing?? HENCE MACHINES ARE INCREDIBLE OBJECTS ON THIS PLANET EARTH AND ARE FAR MORE PRECISE THAN WE HUMAN BEINGS BUT FOR THE WORD "NO BRAINS OF ITS OWN".

I think that from today and in the forseeable future machines in manufacturing and process industries can be comparable to humans. In spite of having created them for our use, the developing trend of manufacturing "Intellignt Machines" has resulted in machines not only being able to independently analyse and react to given situations but to continuously learn during the process. Everyday, we hear about new techniques are being developed to isolate machines from human control. Today we can verbally converse, take or give instructions from machines. With the ability to process vast amounts of information and take multiple & simeltaneous actions, the day is not roo far off when the machines will have the ability to express emotions too.

I am not sure whether I should support this or not........I put down my thoughts We always say " Man made machines". As all of know man made machines to facilitate the work. With competition increasing to create USP to the product, manufacturer try to emulate humans behavior/character/attributes in the product. This eventually increases the dependency on it. Eventually reducing human efforts. This increased dependency and human psyche makes us compare machines with humans. And SCI-FI movies are more hypothetical than real.

We all are aware of that machines r madeup by man . The work which man do is never done by a machine . machines r made to ease human efforts only . It is different thing that he/she made them in such a way that he/she can't even think of without their use.Or in other words we can say that MAN is mostly addicted to these machines.

If that was the case, robots would have overpowered the planet Earth and would have taken control of over 6 billion human beings on earth! What we know about the human beings is only a tip in the iceberg - we have a large unexplored territories on the powers of human beings! We have classic repository of this "Vidya" available in our Vedas,Upanishads, Vishnu Purana, Bhagwat Purana and Bhagwad Gita and epics!

Haha..! NICE QUESTION ..! A MAN CAN COMPARE WITH GOD? GOD CREATED MAN.. MANS CREATED MACHINES...! EVEN THOUGH MACHINE CAN DO THE WORKS BETTER THAN A MAN... BUT WITH OUT A MAN MACHINE CAN NOT BE THERE IN THE WORLD ....! WE CANT COMPARE THE MACHINE WITH HUMAN.... I THINK YOUR QUESTION MUST MORE NARROW...! IN THE PERFORMANCE WISE WE CAN COMPARE ....! SO PLEASE BE NARROW WHILE ASKING YOUR QUESTION...........!

man made machine not machine made man........................we even can't compare human being with machine........yes it is true that today most of the things depend on machine.......and these all things are very useful for human being.........but that n does not mean we can replace machine with human being..........every thing has its own importane....................but human being are precious then anything else

No, I think its not possible to compare machines to human beings. We can't expect machines to have same intelligence level as humans have.Yes Some machines are developed having some amount of intelligence but again not comparable to humans.

No, machines are machines humanbeings are humanbeings. No one can compare with each other. Machines are for reducing the humanbeing's effort, to make life more comfortable. Although the machinea are externally as featured as humans are but no machines can generate emotions naturally.

Machines are only mechanisms they are manmade, they are programed. Machines would not think before having any accident though they help to reduce human efforts. However they need operator atleast before starting any application. The basic thing is that machines are dependant and human beings are not. Some humans however may feel that they are mechanical in day to day life but it is not the fact, everybody has to his own decision making and ability to act in critical situations.

We made machines to reduce our efforts. The machines can do the works repetitively with no error and with less time. Thats why we cant think our life without machines. But it will be very absurd if we compare machines with human beings. It is the human beings who created the machines. Though presently the Artificial Intelligence(A.I.), robotics etc. are on rise, the machine can not compete with the human beings. Moreover the machine can not show emotions. They may have superior brains but they do not have the hearts. They can only produce some predetermined results.

No,not at all. Machine can not be compared with human being. It is human being who made machine and fed that with all the knowledge and accuracy. Man will always have upper hand. Only man can handle these machines.

No, Machines shouldn't be compared with human beings because first it is made by a human being but today's scenario it becomes vice versa in case of test tube babies, i.e. a machine can make human beings but still it can't have this much sense that a human being can . But I believe that machines are dominating in some areas rather than human beings like they never tired and they can work with same efficiency as long as they go under any maintenance mode. But one thing that makes them different from us that whatever artificial intelligence they use to prove themselves better than us still they aren't as sound in terms of decision making at a circumstance which wasn't defined or programmed earlier for them. At that point of time they prove themselves that they aren't just simple machines and machines do only those work for them they are programmed.

No ... absurd. May happen in Science Fiction/ Hollywood/ Bollywood pictures. In children computer books, the first line starts : Dont think computer is God. Albiet, the way of "computing" is going to change drastically in years 2come, Robots robotics will be doing more human jobs, (A.I.) artificial intellegence/s will be up-graded and make things easy for humans, Computer may not taken the position of MAN ever.

being very time saving and energy efficient than human still Machines have their own limitations, which differs us from being a machine as we have got feelings emotions thinking capacity (unlimited), mainly thone quality which human have uniquely is the quality of Learning,, so I think it is no where we can say machines can be compared with Human's

Machines are a product uotput of a creative idea of a human brain . They in turn have become a dependable device which simplifies the day to day operations and it further enhances the output by minising the manual spent otherwise. They are not comparable to human beings.

Machines are logical ideas or designs which have been put into solid form so as to simplify the day to day work for an individual. Now machines are controlled by humans, which rather control them indirectly by sets of commands , which have been written by us human , not by a machine. Basically the machines are a non-functional unit without logic or commands and this logic is within us which cannot be compared or scaled , for the sake of argument we can say that , there is artificial intelligence beating our sense of logic and is capable of computing new logical programs, but that doesn't mean that machines have achieved a individuality , present form of androids are just question and answer type robots with few reasoning , controls, feedback and movements i.e still working on written commands and not writing one according to the situation . Until proper "ethical codes" ,emotions and building of proper self production units are not achieved , comparing machines to humans will remain a joke .
So comparing machines to human on logical level is illogical , ya unless compared on the scale of sustainability , durability ,strength .... on the physical side , machines surely win the argument !!

The real question...and the one confusing and distorting this discussion...is not whether we can "compare machines to human beings", but rather...and much more likely..."Can we compare ourselves to machines?" Mankind goes through life exhibiting such mechanical behavior...entirely predictable habits and behavior patterns...completely absorbed by identification, imagination and negative emotions...such that he more closely resembles an automaton than the species label he so arrogantly puts on himself. This does not mean, of course, we are not capable of developing machines that can serve our needs and even replace our functions, BUT we should never lose sight of the potential peril which lies in the prospect of machines creating machines. Just because we "can" does not mean always that we "ought". The more worthy effort...and potentially even the more frutiful discussion here...would be what man has to do in order to overcome his mechanicality so the might be able to fulfill his birthright as true human being.
