Can machines be comparable to human mind?

I think whatever machines have been created are been created by humans only and not by machines by themselves, so how can they be far more superior than Human brain, and also there was a similar debate in the first place I guess like can machines be made comparable to human beings.   So humans are more superior, may be they are developing machines which can store more data than a human brain or can perform functions more than a human brain, but remember he is just creating things which can make life easier for human, and not totally replace humans.......
