In the automobile sector, India has many companies that have partnered with world majors & that have helped them gain important knowledge. Also presently many indian brands e.g.- M & M, TATA etc are being exported to Middle east , SA & with plans for US. China on other hand though has matured automobile market, but they have been operating only in China with no concrete plans to expand & no association with renowned companies. Also with many brands setting up factories here out strenght & expertise will only grow

Yes. Regardless of political and infrastructural obstacles, India was able to distinguish itself as an IT player. There's no reason why it couldn't replicate this success in the manufactured goods segment. It's a question of being committed and focused

India is one of the fastest growing and emerging economies in the near future,,India can beat every country in the world in manufacturing and IT,,India has great potential to be the No-1 player in the world, it needs to improve its infrastructure, have transparency in the government and bring up the living standard of the poor

Yes surely we can. Just do what you are good at. Try to compete with China on their terms. ie. don't compete in mass production as of now. Give ourself a firm base by doing what we do best. plunder the services sectors. be a giant at whatever we do, India got brain & labour power both. If both work effectively & efficiently INDIA will surely not only challange China but will be winner too. Indians are very determinant but problem here is the political problems. No leader want to work from core. infact they dont work

In my opinion,, India is not a quality conscious market. Masses buy cheap stuff and very few go for quality here. India can make quality stuff but price war with China is tough. China, with a good manufacturing infrastructure, is hard to beat until we make customers quality conscious.

India needs a lot of improvement in all sectors. China has spent last 30 year in building the infrastructure they have now. India has not done any groundwork and hence it lacks behind. Beating China is not impossible but will require proper planning. But right now, it's a BIG NO. 'Made in India' will take some more time to compete with China.,,Till the corrupt politicians and officials outnumber those who wish good for India, it will be difficult for 'Made in India' to beat China.
