I feel if the individual has talent definitely yes, after all it,s not you will be benefiting the company of coarse as a fresher many don,t get the chance to negotiate , but still the packages being offered to IIM and IIT graduates are testimony to it.

No its not advisable to negotiate as a fresher. Today getting a job is a big task, over that if you negotiate there are chances of rejection or the other person who asks less than you may get the job. So accept whatever they give and then perform well and get what you deserve....

If you are not able to brand and price yourself, How you are goin to survive in this competitive industry? A fresher is having it's own advantage, His/Her mind is fresh and there fore he/she will be easily accept the work culture and process of the company. An experienced guy always make referral about his previous work and there for may not be comfortable with the new companies work culture. However I am not saying experience ppl dosent worth, they are having their own advantage. Their experience counts when the meet any crises situation. The point I was trying to make was, Being a fresher won't make you Inferior.

at the time of interview, the employer has some figure in mind say 10,000/-. Then they offer job @ say 8000/- because they expect that the candidate shall negotiate to certain extent. I feel 10-15% can be negotiated without fear of loosing the opportunity.

If you have confidence in your ability and feel that salary offered is not proportionate with the job, you can negotiate. It is not difficult to get a job, if you are competent enough.

If a fresher is ready to negotiate for salary means he has confidence in himself.now a days companies are looking for talent who is having a good confidence level & assertiveness bocoz after training they know company make them handle to required task .So its good if a fresher want to evaluate himself.

I agree with Alex.Right in the beginning, it is not wise to negotiate. After you become an inevitable one for the running of the organisation, You may think of negotiating.

yes.Actually freshers should not negotiate for salary. Firstly they should get some experience and they should prove that they are working correctly. Now a days getting chance to enter into a new company is a great thing.

no its not advantageous to fresher. because its a difficult task to get a job in today's era. And there will be always negotiation starts from company side because they know that he/she is fresher so they can get the benefit and always the fresher agrees to that but its not a good thing that most of the companies doing. Because of this nature of companies now days fresher is also negotiate.

For freshers, negotiation on salary is not advisable. To be selected for a job is first criteria. There will be plenty of chances later for negotiations after getting a good job.

As a fresher, the focus should be on improving core skills, knowledge and industry focus. Thus, the other aspects will be governed by how the member performs on the job in order to validate the earlier assumptions.....

Should any one is willing to have strong foundation that too in a good and superbrands, learning is to be given more importance and the salary ought to be the secondary one. Thereafter, you have the market under your grip
