Satyam Computer, which was taken over by the Mahindras a year ago and renamed as Mahindra Satyam, is still facing major operational challenges. Satyam says it will take two more years to rejoin the race against erstwhile peers TCS, Infosys and Cognizant.

Whats your opinion can Satyam once again compete with the likes of TCS & Infosys?

Yes they can compete with the top companies if they make the process more transparent which brings in trust among the people. Since it has been bankrupted recently people hesitate to join them. But once they come up with better strategy and process people will join them. So as they said they will be able to compete with TCS, Infy and other companies in two years.....

:)

Yes .. every thing is possible. Even Mahindra Satyam can regain its earlier position.

Past is past. M.Satyam may be rebuilt. There are now so many experts  in the Management who are capable enough if formed in a "team". Set aside the disputes, let some attend to them. Others may look after on-goings and developments.

Whole of India and Indians on the globe are here in helping M.Satyam to see the Co. regain its past glory. We have TCS, Infosis, Wipro etc ... and we want Satyam also.

I don't feel Satyam would be able to catch-up that soon, because -

a) The name Satyam itself has lost the trust in Europe and America. So it will take a long time to regain the hold that it had.

b) TCS and Infosys were already ahead of Satyam. After the scam, TCS and Infosys got most of the Satyam's projects . So now they are far ahead.

c) Madhindra itself had troubles penetrating into US market against strong presence of TCS and Infosys. Now Mahindra is carrying a bad name along with them. I am not sure how world will treat it.

d) Most of worlds biggest economies are struggling now. Nobody would want to join the bad named vendor in such time.

e) I can see few of the employees showing joining in Satyam which again could be because of lack of jobs because of bad economy.
