The latest "newu" store from Dabur has all the top-selling Cosmetic Brands on its shelves. This store also marks the debut of the full line of Skin Care, Colour Cosmetics and Fragrances of the international brand Elizabeth Arden. Also available are the prestige range of Fragrances like DKNY, Kenzo, Aigner and Carolina Herrera.

The brand "newu" has become synonymous with easy access to international and national health, beauty & wellness brands. In a short span of time, the brand has made its presence felt in the retail market in India. The store’s ‘tone and manner’ has been created to provide customers with a 'total shopping experience', an organized & modern interior offering a relaxed, soothing ambience for customers to discover a new world of beauty, health & wellness.

However, in the Indian Market do we really have a place for such a specialized store for beauty, health & wellness?

I believe, most of the consumers today are not the kind who would go out looking for specific stores, especially in the beauty, health & wellness category.

Such demand would not exist in the larger parts of the country as  whatever demand these stores would create would be restricted to the larger cities and so you wouldnt really see much of an impact as it would only cater to the needs of the privileged few.
