Yes it is possible. But as long as the economy is on sound footing and the fruits of the development reaches the needy people, the chances of such revolution is meager. Except for little bit of censorship on freedom of speech China's people are enjoying everything I believe. Communism is slowly vanishing and people all over the world opting for democracy. One thing I certainly can say China would have not raced to the present position if it is not in the hands of communist leaders.

People are a mighty strength.so can say waht would happen to any country whether china . When the great russin can crumble china is not an exception. everything has its own limits. if the governance is good for people then ther is stability where ever it may be. When there is no stability and choas in the state fora longer period of time then everything goes haywire like that of tunisia, egypt and the cup is broilling at baharain. reards Major Rajendran

Seeing the current situation of china where it is impossible even to organise public gathering for some reason , it feels that there can't be any demos against government in China. It seems now-a-days that strenuous government can hold people.
But at the same time one should never underestimate the internal rage of some effective leaders of china towards their government.
The leaders are only inactive because china is in a rising and developing path, people will not waste their time and career in demos. But when the population will exceed then their jobs there will be frustation.
We should recall Lenin and Trotsky where there was litellary ban for Lenin.

Because communism runs deep in china. right from the common man to the highest echleon of the army and govt. But the Chinese are indeed an intelligent lot ! To preempt any protests, they have already announced just yesterday with official full page ads in all leading newspapers saying " dont get swayed by what certain people say and spoil the peace, prosperity and freedom that you enjoy in china". Additionally they have increased the public spending by 12.5 % with bigger outlays for education, job creation, low -income housing, healthcare and pensions other than social insurance. this was officially announced by premier Wen Jiabao diuring the opening session of the 11th National People's Congress.

no it is not possible. There are political reasons, rulers in Arab world are puppets of USA who are just carrying out on the behalf of western countries. they are living lavish lifes in their countries. in China rulers are independent and there is a feeling of pride among chinese people as china is a leading player on the global level.China is too large for such revolutions.

Kavitha though I agree with you but you cannot suppress the people in general for long time. So China will also see uprising may be a little late.

Many a communist countries went to reformation ,say, USSR, CZECH,SLOVOKIA etc. It is the aspirations of the people not a prediction that counts for. China, called IRON-CURTAIN country, seems to keep economic reforms as and when required even though, it's media is muffled very tightly. Looking at the infrastructure and tech development, we do not hear any resentment from the population. However, the people who are repressed and made to live a controlled life is to decide that.

It cannot happen in China. It is an Oppressive Communist Regime which does not have any ethical values for Human Lives. In the Egypt scenario, there was wide spread media coverage and the whole world was watching the events on a live basis. This would not be possible in China due to restrictions in media coverage. Also, there are several "Despots" in all countries who would blindly support the Communist Chinese regime.

the paradox of strength is that what is true for one individual need not b true for the economy as a whole. No doubt the Egypt episode is slowly and gradually spreading especially in the Muslim ruling country but expecting such a similar situation is dream comes true. India is witnessing a similar situation in Pakistan and it may b well argued that the situation in Pakistan is not similar to that of Egypt. The Tia men square is still fresh and Green in our minds
