All polticians are very much terrified by the Great Public support to Anna Hazare's Jan-Lokpal Movement. And by heart, most of them want to de-rail this ( by hook or crook ) public support by defaming Anna ji's confident, as they dont have any charge against Anna ji himself. Day will come very soon when these politicians & beauracrats will be beaten by public on the Road.

Yes. We cant rule out the hand of big wigs in this episode. The statements of Union Ministers, Congress party leaders are further strengthening the doubts. It seems the Govt. want to dilute the movement against the corruption. The Govt. seems to be fearing the support being gained by Anna.

It is not just congress, the entire political spectrum has been looting this country together with tacit understanding. 60 years of looters are not going to accept the end of their loot raj so soon. The fight against corruption is the biggest challenge for the citizens of this country and soon we can expect civil war in India if the netas and babus refuse to change and meet the peoples expectations. Since the entire system is corrupt you cannot expect anyone in India not affected by it any time.

In a country of 1.2 billion people, there will be 1.2 billion hidden agendas. We cannot get to know the agendas of every person and every person's move. Let us wait and watch the drama unfold. We Indians are more interested in the soap operas being shown on TV than our day-to-day life and problems. Now we have chance to see another soap opera - live. Let us forget the issue of corruption and watch the events unfold. God save us.

Peoples shall have to do one thing for keeping pressure on politicians for passing the bill in parliment - Do not vote that person who oppose the bill in parliment. Keep pressure on them will play a major role.

Politicians will try all ploys to stall the proceedings. Anna ji should not have moved out of Jantar Mantar, should have inducted Kiran Bedi and Aruna Roy in the draft committee, and should have kept himself out of the group to keep pressure on the government. Now, he is an insider and he will not have much say about this matter. Now, he is voicing differently.

Distraction is the main policy to Weaken the Main Core of the subject in Politics. It's called a 'Kootniti' by Chanakya using the policies of so called Saam, Daam Danda & Bheda. Infact the psychology of humans are being manipulated.Creating a bigger Problem to distract the ppl from the current problem is the key of present politics. But we the young gen. r not ginipigs anymore we are much smarter than their tactical malpractices & can very soon sense the moves. But mind it, as of now this racket is not that smaller perhaps we sense that there's a hidden conjunction of Politicians+Industrialists+Bureaucrats+Media +Administration. Amita just get go for this cause We all support u for the cause to our National Integration & Improvement...Best of Luck

While I agree with you on the timing of such information (CD in this case), my question is Lawyers are no good in drafting a simple bill. They will make it complicated and provide a chance for their community to test it, reinterpret it according to their wims and facies. With technology CD can be created so dont waste time on that. We will at least save our time if we dont discuss it. The question is it looks like we have only one Anna, one Santhos Hegde and one hushan. Rest are all useless people? If that is so then we deserve to be ruled by these corrupt politicians. Why do you look for some one else to lead us and correct us? Cannot you prevet corruption by yourself being honest? Can not you stop a Politician from your area from being corrupt and take advantage? Are you affraid of him? If you cannot stop your own representative from becoming corrupt then Lokpal or any one also cannot, because the corrupt has a mejority and he will frustrate you.

The members of the Lokpal Bill committee should be above suspicion for the lokpal bill to be accepted by the public as a pioneering document. The truth or falsehood of any allegation against any member of the committee should be investigated thoroughly and the truth should come out. If the allegations are false then the person who is responsible for the allegations should be prosecuted to the limit of law and if they are proved true then the concerned person should get out of the committee.

Question here not about the authenticity of a CD. Anna Hazare himeself may not have known Shantibushan properly. Also Anna Hazare should know that all that he may not be liked by all honest people. Even if you have a LokPal with all powers needed in the world to book the corrupt. Who is going t appoint the LokPal. It is the corrupt Politician again. Then will you accept the wordict of such a Lokpal? What is needed to day is not LokPal but restrcting the politician from making Politics as a profession and heriditory business. This can be done only when you make the term of a MP 44-5 years in his life time, with power to people to recall him if he is not performing. People who want to be MPs should not get salary and f ree accomodation that such large Bangaloows. If they really want to serve then they should remain in a Simple Hostel. They are not executives They are only Policy makers. They should behave well and participate and contribute in the Loksabha and Assemblies. Lawers given a chance will make a law that will help them get more business. What is th euse of a Law if it is not simple and not understandable by a common man? Why should a lawyer is required to argue a case? it is because law is made complicated and lawers and judiciary wants to re interpret or twist the and give new meaning to it which even the law makers have not envisaged.
