Todays people are moving more towards Air conditioner than Fan including all class people excep lower & lower middle class. Last year Air conditioner market has won and covered good market share as compared to fan. Last year AC market has broken all the record and at that time very boom as well as demand of AC. Demand became high against Supply in overall market. Day by day ceiling fan market is going down, no doubt demand may be in market but still now a days the trend is coming of AC market as time is changing. Will ceiling fan market will survive in long term? Who will win this time in match? Ceiling fan team players:- Bajaj fan, Usha fan, Orient fan, Havells, and Local many more.... Lower middle class also going slowly to buy AC. An price wise if you will analyse , price will also became economic as competition rise in Overall FMCG market (consumer durable). As compared to fan, people are getting quality products with advanced technology. So AC market will rise..

Though Coolres are lowe energy solutions, and involves good air quality, AC's fared better with the respondents with respect to (a) Status symbol, (b) feeling of highre comfort. However when you compute the costs of Tons of Carbon it emits due to the consumption of the electricity, Ac's are worst offenders and it would be almost more than 100 times that of Fans and Coolers. Thugh coolers weighed in favour because of its ability to bring down temperatures to around 26oC, whch fans cannot. Hence AC's usage should be shunned. Ask Symphony for this. Ceiling fan can never compete with AC in respect of cooling. During peak summer, who does not want AC ?
