Chance of getting in and survive, honest and straight forward persons in political parties.

What we are currently seeing in the politics are people who are laid back and having attitudes like who cares, they all are here just to make money and nothing else, we need leaders who has zeal to make changes that is required and take the nation to the different level altogether with the positive attitude, and this must be the criteria while selecting the candidate even by the people.

I agree, but honest & moral fiber versus politics are not in the same house any more.  Even in a society where freedom of enterprise is given, I see people defraud each other versus working for it. In companies, firms world wide attack each others formulas for business versus building thier own? Again they cant even fight with honor either. Using children as shields and put inocent civilians in harms way?  Take versus Make?

For this, India’s political systems need major change.  To give democracy a chance, the political system and bureaucracy need to be cleansed weeding out incapable, corrupt and unscrupulous characters from the scene. Time has come for the political parties to stop passing on political and official positions to unworthy elements without commensurate caliber, in the caucus and those in the family dynasty as a matter of routine.

Otherwise, people have to look for other alternatives. Currently a good portion of citizen shun away from exercising their franchise finding none worthy to vote for. This situation can change only if clean, capable and forward thinking persons come into political arena. There shall be apolitical societies or ‘Citizens community watch dogs’ in every constituency as community watch dogs to impartially bring out and inform the merits and demerits of the contestants to the people to help them exercise their franchise for the right person to represent them in the local and federal government.

It is a pity that in Indian Politicians are not supposed to be Honest and hard working.
