I think khakhi does not give professional outlook to police It needs to be changed to Internationally known sky blue shirt and dark blue pant. I think this move motivates the police to work professionally

The clothes they wear don't matter,  it is their attitude towards the work they are paid to do that matters.  If you act in a professional way then you will be treated in the professional way. Do you honestly believe if the police force is corrupted, changing their clothes will make them honest professionals?.

Why should we align to what is what is being followed or implemented in other countries. What we do , should be based entirely out of the us. In a tropical country like ours .. i think dark colours like blue & black would be wrong choice.

Let us not blame Police. It is the soceity , which wants to earn money even at the cost of relationship, ethics, human relations, respect to others. Many a time police are  forced to shield corrupt people otherwise they may loose their job and thrown on roads.  Let us first putforward a goal before society THAT ETHICS, HUMAN RELATIONS, RESPECTING EACH OTHER ETC., applaud and encourage who does good.  In such situation uniform, colour of dress does not matter the heart behind the uniform really works.

Let our Police answer that,,,,,otherwise it will be difficult for us, I think, if they have some complaints about our attire!!

I would like to see them become more honest, more enforcing of laws and rules, more people oriented than looking better.

As the over used cliche goes.....they have no place to go but up in their reputation.

CHANGE OF HEART is what they require.

Uniform alone will not change anything

There is no need of changing the dress of police . khakhi dress code indicates for worker . police are public servents and they should work for public..all the government working people are having the same dress code from labour to police.. their dignity matters not the dress..

Its obvious sign of prosperity. Price only increase when there is demand and demand only comes when people have money. Inflation is much better than deflation but it should be in limit where people can afford the day to day things
