A six- seven year old girl is standing in a cold wintery night of december near a Red light without a stitch on her.A chivalerous guy on his way to Delhi airport to receive his cousins gets down from his car takes off his Woodland jacket ,covers the girl gives her fifty rupees to eat something and leaves .Two hours later on his way back along with his cousins to whom he had just narrated the story,he finds the same girl at the same place again without any cloths on her..What can be more pathetic than this ,at least not child labour.

Government has failed to take care of the child begging in the country. In the case of child labour, atleast the laws are there, but not at all effective. I have my doubts whether India will ever succeed in abolishing child labour. There are of course laws made for this purpose, but implementation is not effective and efficient. Courts will keep on pulling up Government officials for child labour lapses but they will remain unmoved.

Child begging on the streets is the worst form of child abuse, and all the resourses should be focussed to remove the same,If we cannot do something to remove what is so ugly and openly visible ,how do people trust those who want to eliminate child labour which is not so apparent.
