Burning Shame of Hindutva, Burning an european alive! - Part 1
The gruesome murder of an Australian missionary and his two sons in Orissa shocks the nation--and rattles the BJP-led government at the Centre. By Ruben Banerjee, India Today
Even in death they were inseparable. Charred beyond recognition and reduced to fragile frames of ashes, the three bodies lay clinging to each other in what must have been a vain attempt to protect each other and escape the mob. But on the fateful night of January 22-23 in the wilderness of Manoharpur village in the sleepy rural outback of Orissa's Keonjhar district, nothing worked for the hapless father and his two sons. Having surrounded them from all sides, a murderous crowd set on fire the old four-wheel drive Willy's station wagon in which the three had retired for the night.
The beastly act done, Australian-born Christian missionary Graham Stewart Staines, 58, and his two sons, Phillip, 10, and Timothy, 7, were put to sleep forever. No sooner had its macabre mission been completed than the mob melted away in the darkness as the flames that had leapt skywards simmered. But the heat generated by the senseless killings and the outrage stoked are far from ebbing days after the incident.
With the campaign against Christians, so far confined to Gujarat, making its ugliest appearance in Orissa, the nation went numb with horror. Even as Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee hung his head in shame, his Government was rattled by the wave of condemnation. President K.R. Narayanan spoke for everyone when he described the murder as "a monumental aberration of time-tested tolerance and harmony. The killings belong to the world's inventory of black deeds". Confronted with the charge that the Bajrang Dal -- a militant Hindu outfit attached to the VHP and with links to the RSS -- was guilty of the horrific murder, the prime minister despatched a three-member cabinet team to Manoharpur and announced a judicial inquiry headed by a Supreme Court judge.
For the past 35 years, dressed in casuals, sporting his trademark hat and wheeling his rickety bicycle, Saibo -- as he was popularly called -- was a fixture in Baripada where he did "God's work", tending and nursing leprosy patients in a specially run home on the town's outskirts.
Born in Brisbane, as a young boy the Australian became a pen friend of one Santanu Satpathy of Baripada with whom he shared his birthday. The long-distance friendship bloomed and Staines visited Baripada to call on his friend. That was in 1965 and he never returned. Besides the idyllic landscape of the region, what touched him was the Leprosy Home run since the last century with help from the Leprosy Mission of Australia. Having barely finished school, Staines finally found his mission in life. He devoted himself to the Home -- eventually becoming its superintendent -- and also immersed himself in preaching the Bible by virtue of also being the convener and treasurer of the Evangelical Missionaries Society.
His dedicated service won him many hearts. Fluent in Oriya and the local Santhali dialect, Staines and his wife Glades, whom he married in the '80s, were pillars of the local society. Three years ago, a devastating fire in Baripada left at least a 100 dead and scores horribly burnt. The local hospital failed to cope and the Staines couple -- Glades is a trained nurse -- spent nights nursing the injured. Elected president-designate of the local Rotary chapter for 2001, Staines was a leading light in last month's Pulse Polio immunisation drive. He distributed leaflets enthusiastically while Glades drove the jeep that led the procession for creating awareness in Baripada.

Bomb blast by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Sourcehttp://www.expressindia.com/latest-news/two-held-for-blast-in-thane-bomb-in-vashi/323787/ The state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Monday made its first major breakthrough in the two cases of crude bombs planted at auditoriums in Navi Mumbai and Thane recently, with the arrest of two men claiming affiliation to an organisation called the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti.
According to the ATS, the two were also involved in a minor explosion at a Panvel cinema hall screening the film Jodhaa Akbar in February this year. The two claim to have planted the explosives on their own and not at the behest of any organisation.
According to the ATS, the duo claim their attacks were planned in retaliation to the screenings of the movie Jodhaa Akbar and the Marathi play Aamhi Panchpute, as they felt these caricaturised Hindu deities and insulted Hindu sentiments. The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti had earlier staged protests against the screening of the movie and the producer of the play.
The arrested accused are Ramesh Hanumant Gadkari (50) and Mangesh Dinkar Nikam (34). They were picked up by the ATS early on Monday from New Panvel and remanded to police custody till June 24.
“They have been arrested in connection with the crude bomb planted at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vashi on May 31, and the bomb that exploded at Gadkari Rangayatan auditorium in Thane on June 4. They have been booked under the Indian Penal Code for attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means, and voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous means, and under the Explosives Substances Act. ... we have evidence that they are also involved in the small explosion that took place in a theatre screening Jodhaa Akbar at Panvel on February 20,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (ATS) Hemant Karkare.
“They have told us that they are full-time members of the Hindu Jangruti Samiti and the Sanatan Sanstha. However, we have not recovered any documents to prove their membership. They claim that they did not act on orders from any organisation. However, we are probing the possible involvement of the organisation. Office bearers have been questioned and more arrests are likely,” said Karkare.
Following the arrests, the Mumbai coordinator of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Uday Dhuri, insisted that the organization was not involved.
“Gadkari was not instigated to react this way by us. It was on his own that the idea occurred to him because of the portrayal of the Mahabharat in the play, and even when the police came to find him, we helped them,” said Dhuri. He added that though there are people having associations with both, the Sanathan Sanstha is independent of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti. The duo told the ATS that a combination of ammonium nitrate and gelatin sticks had been planted by them in all three cases. According to the ATS, Nikam was arrested in February 2006 in Ratnagiri, for allegedly throwing country-made bombs at the residence of a man who was believed to be conducting Christian rituals there.
The two accused operated from the Sanatan Sankul Ashram in Devegaon area of Panvel, where the bomb was assembled. Gadkari is a diploma holder in electrical engineering and was the one who prepared the circuit, while Nikam helped with sourcing the explosives, said police.

Wasting away your life for Hindu Terror - a sadhvi's story! sourcehttp://www.financialexpress.com New Delhi: Former ABVP activist and key terror accused Pragya Singh Thakur has told the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad that fellow radical Ramji Kalsangra was responsible for the September 29, 2008, Malegaon bomb blast which he executed using her motorcycle.
She has also told investigators that the casualty figure of seven in that blast would have been higher had it not been for a “faulty bomb timer”.
The Mumbai ATS recorded this statement on October 15, 2008, after Pragya Thakur did not reveal much in her two other statements on October 11 and October 12, 2008.
This statement, a copy of which is with The Indian Express, assumes significance as the Home Ministry proposes that the National Investigation Agency bring under its purview all terror cases involving alleged Hindu extremists, including Malegaon, Samjhauta Express and the murder of ex-RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi.
Pragya Thakur’s statement in Marathi focuses on a 30-minute critical meeting with Ramji Kalsangra — who had been using her Freedom motorcycle after the murder of Sunil Joshi in December 2007 — at the Mahakaal Dharmashala in Ujjain on October 8, 2008. Kalsangra has been missing since the bomb blast.
Thakur said she bought the vehicle (registered number GJ 05 BR 1920) from Surat in 2003 with financial assistance from her “rakhi brother” Sunil Joshi of Dewas. In November 2004, Thakur gave the motorcycle to Joshi for use for Rs 22,000. She said the motorcycle was never sold to Sunil Joshi.
Arriving in Ujjain after taking the night train from Indore, Thakur was received by Kalsangra’s aide Dharmendra. The meeting was fixed at the Mahakaal Dharmashala over a safe mobile phone handed over to Thakur by the Kalsangra aide at the railway station.
During the 30-minute conversation, Thakur says she asked Kalsangra about the motorcycle and asked him to come with her to Surat. The statement quotes Kalsangra saying: “I have used your vehicle for a bomb blast in Malegaon, Maharashtra.” When she asked him why did he do this, Kalsangra replied: “It happened.”
Thakur then said that she would have to go to jail as the vehicle was in her name. Ramji Kalsangra replied that she need not worry as he had changed the number-plate and filed off the vehicle’s engine and chassis number. He told her the police would find no clues.
According to her statement, Kalsangra told her that “two or three people” had died in Malegaon. Ramji said: “There was a mistake in timing of the bomb explosion. I tried to park the vehicle in one or two crowded places but could not do so. After this, I parked the vehicle at one place and left immediately. At that point, there was not much crowd in the vicinity and there was so much explosive packed in the vehicle that the entire rear-end was blown away.”
Thakur met the police inspector in Surat on October 10, 2008, with Kalsangra buying her a ticket to Surat and giving her another Rs 15,000 for expenditure.
In the statement, Thakur is also quoted as having said that she met Lt Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit on October 5, 2008 in Jabalpur. Purohit told her that he had orchestrated bomb blasts in Orissa, Karnataka and Maharashtra, “killing a large number of people.”
THE SADHVI & THE COLONEL
PRAGYA FELL OUT with Malegaon blast accused Col Shrikant Purohit over “money”, the Sadhvi has told the NIA. She said she met Purohit first in April 2008 at an Abhinav Bharat gathering.
PUROHIT sent text messages to associates saying “Singh has sung the song” after Pragya’s arrest, which, the NIA believes, could indicate that Purohit, Pragya and others were working together.

RSS men killed while making bombs Source:kafila.org Two bajarangdal leaders were killed while 2 others injured on 24 August when they were making bombs in Kanpur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) as reported by Urdu daily Rashtriya Sahara in its front page. According to Sahara, the blast was so strong that the wall of the room in which the blast occurred collapsed. In other rooms, the walls were damaged. Pieces of glass were strewn everywhere.
The bomb blasted in a house in Rajeev Nagar area on Sunday afternoon. According to the report, the police recovered 3 kg lead oxide, 500 g red lead, 1 kg potassium nitrate, 11 country made grenades, several bomb pins, seven timers and batteries from the spot. According to the IG, “The recovery shows that a massive explosion was on the cards.
The deceased have been identified as Rajeev Mishra and Bhupinder Singh. While Rajeev is the son of S S Mishra, the landlord of the house, Bhupinder was a resident of Shastri Nagar. Mishra, a retired Kanpur Electric Supply Company employee, lives in the nearby Nankari village. He had rented a few rooms of his house to several students.
Rajeev’s occupied the room in which the blast took place. As he works in Lucknow, he used to visit the place on Sundays.
According to a senior police officer, the material found could have been used for several explosions. Of the seven timers recovered, two were attached with batteries with the help of wires.
It is reported that Piyush, who used to work as a complaint officer in a mobile company in Lucknow, came home with Bhupinder and asked the residents of the hostel to vacate the rooms on the pretext of checking the electric wiring. Shiv Sharan Mishra, Rajiv’s father, a retired employee of Kesko had built this private hostel, which had nine rooms and 14 students stayed in the hostel and Rajiv had kept one room for himself. As soon as the occupants left the hostel, a massive blast took place. Recovery of a timer device and prohibited explosive raw materials show that a major terror plot was being hatched there. Bhupinder used to run a photo studio in the Sarvoday Nagar locality of Kanpur and his shop was close to the city’s popular J.K. temple, police said. According to the police the explosives were meant to be spread during Sunday’s celebrations. On monday police recovered some crude hand grenades, lead oxide, red lead, potassium nitrate, bomb pins, timers and batterires from the spot. The police felt that the quantity of explosives stored there was enough to destroy half of Kanpur.
The most notable fact about the perpetrators of this conspiracy, who died during this explosion, is that both of them belonged to Bajrang Dal, the ‘storm troopper’ wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The leaders of the Bajrang Dal have conceded that they ‘worked with the organisation’ some time back and one of them happened to be the convenor of the city wing.
Looking at the nature of the crime, and the fact that a major tragedy could be averted, it is expected that the state government with necessary help from the central government would try to unearth the real conspirators who were behind the plan. It is a positive sign that the police have recovered mobiles of both of them and now if they wish they can take the case to its logical end.
After the blast in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, all fingers were pointed towards Muslims. Intelligence along with Media would hide all reports and facts that would point fingers towards the non Muslim communities. Now this explosion may point the finger the other day. Senior congress leader Dig Vijay Singh had said in an interview with Tehelka that he had evidence of Of RSS and VHP making bombs. Now, this explosion may prove that Dig Vijay may be right.

BJP MLA accused of rape Source:Deccan Herald Patna, May 31, PTI
In a major embarrassment to the Bhartiya Janta Party, the ruling coalition partner in Bihar, its senior MLA Raj Kishore Kesri has been slapped with a rape charge by a teacher, a senior police official said on Monday.
The 35-year-old teacher of a private school has alleged in the FIR lodged at Khazanchihat police station in Purnia district three days ago that she was raped by the MLA and his cohorts for more than three years, Purnia Division’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Amit Kumar said.
The rape charge against Kesri was being investigated by the Khazanchihat police station in-charge, Arvind Kumar, while the area Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) S S Thakur has been made the supervising officer in the high profile case, he said.
While the complainant was unavailable for her comments, Kesri, the sitting MLA from Purnia assembly constituency, rubbished the rape charges filed against him. “The rape charge appears to be a handiwork of my adversaries to mar my prospect in the forthcoming assembly polls,” he said adding that he was optimistic of getting justice.
Similar charge earlier
This is the second time in the past three years that the BJP MLA’s reputation has come under a cloud after he was implicated in a similar charges by another woman but was later given a clean chit by the investigators. The BJP state leadership has, however, rallied behind the legislator with the Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi defending him in public at a function during Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s “Vishwas Yatra” in Purnia last week.
Meanwhile, the chief minister had quietly distanced himself from Kesri during his Purnia visit and refused to share the dias with him at the public meeting held in Purnia, Janta Dal (United) sources said.
The BJP legislator, who was seated on the dais, was quietly asked by senior officials accompanying Kumar to vacate the platform from where the latter was to address a public meeting in Purnia last week.

Congress is MORE responsible based on the loot rate. What the congress could loot in 58 years, BJP have looted it just 6 years. In case of Yeddy, BJP has looted more. Now tell me who is more responsible?

Ms_Pi! With all due respects to your thought, I beg to differ slightly. There is nothing to be desperate about as we have come a long way. I think we have to change ourselves. We as a nation has made tremendous progress over the years. And it is important to continue forward in a constructive action mode instead of going into a self-defeatist mode of criticizing endlessly. It is useless blaming politicians, political families and the system.

Jugnuji, Vinoyji and Shantiji: It is unfortunate that more than 50% of the population are illiterate and below poverty line. The political parties - be it Congress or BJP - maintain these people as their vote bank. In fact they spend crores to keep them BPL and illiterate. Changing the Govt is in their hands. We are helpless, in my opinion.

Madam Jugnu! Personally I am not a supporter or agitator against the Congress. But frankly I cannot accept this silly talk of Italian connection, Nehru dynasty and all other nonsense that the BJP keeps harping on. It projects a very immature portrayal of Indian social fabric, which is not true. Pardon me for repeating over and over, the tragedy of Indian democracy is there is no viable alternative to the Congress. As for my vote, it is known only to me and that too I decide on it after taking into account all the factors, including local. So you see, I am pretty impartial in politics. Pardon me if I sound harsh, this continuous jabbering on unwanted issues is harmful to India. India as a nation is far bigger than any family or party.

FIR against BJP CM and Family Members Source:TNN BANGALORE: Lokayukta police on Monday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against former CM B S Yeddyurappa, his two sons and son-in-law, charging them with corruption in a mining deal.
Yeddyurappa, his sons B Y Raghavendra, MP, and B Y Vijayendra, and son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar have been booked under sections 7, 8, 9, 13(1) D, and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Yeddyurappa figures as the accused number 1, followed by his sons and son-in-law. Lokayukta SP Vidyasagar is the investigating officer.
In his report on July 27, then Lokayukta Justice Santosh N Hegde had recommended to the governor to initiate criminal proceedings against Yeddyurappa. The governor had written to the Lokayukta to initiate action. Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa has approached the Karnataka high court seeking quashing of Lokayukta's recommendations against him. The case is pending before the court.
According to the findings, South West Mining Company, a subsidiary of Jindal, had donated Rs 10 crore to the Prerana Education Society owned by Yeddyurappa's family members and Jindal Steels purchased one acre from Yeddyurappa's family members in Bangalore for Rs 20 crore, though the guidance value fixed for the land by the government was Rs 1.40 crore.
Will Yeddyurappa and family members be arrested? "It depends on the circumstances. After scrutinizing the documents and evidence, the investigation officer will take a decision,'' said Lokayukta ADGP Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar.

"..I support the Ideology of BJP not the Corrupt people in BJP.." That doesn't make any sense. Based on ideology, Indian constitution is ONE of the best in the world and YET we are in such a sorry state. So, there is no use of hiding behind ideology. I created a word called 'loot rate'. It is like current run rate in cricket. Loot rate is equal to the total amount looted divided by the time for this loot ( number of years ). In case of BJP, the loot rate is very high and that is why I say that this party (BJP) is extremely dangerous.

Punjab BJP MLA Khurana arrested in Bribe Case
BJP MLA Raj Khurana in Punjab was arrested by the CBI for allegedly taking bribe. His house was raided on Wednesday night. He was sent to CBI custody for two days. The incident came to light when the CBI team led by DIG Mahesh Aggarwal raided the residence of Khurana in Sector 39 in Chandigarh on Wednesday night and also questioned a government employee Devinder Singh, who is also the Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Finance) in the Parkash Singh Badal-led SAD-BJP alliance government. In fact, Devinder had allegedly demanded money on behalf of Khurana to offer it to a Punjab minister for some official work. However, the CBI has not found any incriminating document from Khurana's residence.
Khurana represents Rajpura constituency. Both Khurana and Devinder were arrested under Prevention of Corruption Act. The case came few days after Sohan Singh Thandal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) in the SAD-BJP alliance, was sentenced by the Mohali Court for having disproportionate assets.

I expect my seniors and friends to do the right judgement and let everyone present their views... As far as i am concerned i am supporting congress just because they are the only party which have group of reknown leader to lead country, whereas BJP was good till Atal Bihari Vajpayee..today their is no clear vision of BJP they have leader but divided in camps fighting for position. Uma bharti's recall in party is biggest example that they lack leaders. On name of youth congress have good settling youth brigade..with milind devara, jyotiradiya sindhiya, sachin pilot..etc whereas bjp have no youth face except anurag thakur....

@Munshi, on the contrary, intelligence agencies are very much delighted at this statement. Atlast somebody has echoed what is there in their minds. Jokes apart, the crux of my view is that I am so much apalled by the statements of the political leaders in power. Imagine, if your son beats up a neighbour's child for no reason, what will you do? You will say sorry to the neighbour, admonish / advise him in public. You will certainly not condone his act. Correct? The same thing applies here. Instead of justifying the attack, what should have been done - at the least - should be to promise to see where we went wrong and why? This is what is expected of a leader. Hope you get my view.

They are using the same techniques on this forum ....to threaten and defame people. Can I threaten you that you should not come out of your house or travel or work just because you do not support a particular political party? A big NO. The bjp has alliances with extremist groups. The only fault that the Congress has is that it is always pro minority, even at the cost of the majority.

Scams during NDA ......UPA government will investigate scams that had allegedly taken place during the previous regime. Previous NDA regime had demolished 1,025 CPWD flats and houses on government land worth Rs 3,500 crore and distributed it to the RSS and its sister organisations. The market price of the land is over Rs 10 thousand crore, he claimed. “Now we know why the BJP did not allowing Parliament to run”, he said, adding, “they (BJP) do not want their corrupt deeds to be exposed”. On the issue of ‘’tainted ministers’, Mr Azad said that “we would first have to define the meaning of tainted ministers. “Those implicated in the Babri mosque demolition are the most tainted ones but they ran the government for five years. Over 2,000 people lost their lives and properties worth millions were destroyed owing to their deeds”, he countered. Source:www.financialexpress.com

I would advocate an apolitical form of federal government. (Please read my article 'An apolitical Federal government is desirable') UPA though follow the secular path, is incapable to rectify the systemic defficiencies that had crept in across the system, over past decade and unable to connect fully with the mass. The method being adopted by UPA in trying to govern the country by political masters sans an efficient and corruption free system is taking its toll. Unfortunately, we do not have a viable opposition party in the country. But for the UPA, with all its drawbacks, by now India would have end up with having a puppet govt. controlled by religious fanatics. According to me Mr. Karat & Co is to blame for the present predicament. It would have been ideal to follow the vision of the elders in the party and continue and strengthen the ties between Congress and Communists for the benefit of the nation as both parties have same aim and objective in removal of gross inequality by improving the common lot, while following a secular path.

To those crooked jokers who blame the current government for raising petroleum prices, here is the answer "The oil companies in India are bleeding with Rs 1,70,000 crores deficit for the past one year and if this is not fixed very soon, next year they will all go bankrupt. We will not have money to buy oil and nobody will give us oil either for free and India will come to a complete halt if we have no oil, petrol, diesel" - if Bharathiya Jokers Party people cannot understand this, then it is a case of Blind Hindutva...illiteracy and double standards...what else can I say!

Since 2005, almost 400 Mumbaikars dead in Islamic terrorist strikes. Kasab is still alive Yet another terror strike, yet another tragedy for the people of Mumbai. Nineteen people died and 131 were injured in the deadly blasts that struck Mumbai on Wednesday. Following the blasts, the common man’s anger is directed at Ajmal Kasab, the face of 26/11. The people want to know why the terrorist is fed, looked after and protected at the expense of the nation. “There is video evidence against Kasab, but still no action is being taken against him,” says an angry Mumbaikar. “Well, point, that it takes a long time is a fact. We need to expedite that. I appreciate the point. That’s the way things stand today. It takes time,” Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said. Since 2005, almost 400 Mumbaikars have died in several terror strikes. It’s a situation that’s almost as bad as terror-torn Karachi and Kabul. Yet, for years, most terror cases are still stuck at the stage of the trial. Every accused is entitled to a free and fair trial. That’s how any civilised democracy behaves. But can the legal process, which is currently slow and tardy, be expedited? “There is no problem with the law. The infrastructure has to improve with technology and computerisation. In the 21st century we can’t still have bullock-cart technology,” said senior advocate KTS Tulsi. The Opposition, however, insists that the law is weak. “Countries across the world have enacted tough laws against terror, but India the law has been weakened and terrorists are almost invited,” said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. And with a conviction rate that’s less than six per cent, for terrorists, such attacks remain a low risk business.

Bhopal: Mere occurrence of three-four incidents cannot be termed as a phenomenon which is a continuous process, senior RSS leader Ram Madhav today said reacting to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram’s “saffron terrorism” remarks. “We believe there is nothing like Hindu terrorism or saffron terrorism in the country,” Madhav said addressing a seminar on “Politics of Terrorism and Media”. Madhav said attempts were being made to create a bogey of saffron terrorism by certain parties. He alleged use of the term “saffron terrorism” was as an attempt to divert attention from “jihadi terrorism”. “The term saffron terrorism was deliberately coined with a vested political interest, so that no one can question the government on the issue of jihadi terrorism,” Madhav told reporters after a seminar here. “The ongoing probe in the three to four (bomb blast) cases (linked to radical Hindu outfits) should reveal the mastermind behind these incidents. Then only anything can be said about them,” the former RSS spokesperson said. To a question, Madhav said there was nothing like saffron/Hindu terrorism in the country. But it cannot be said that terrorism has no colour as it followed certain ideology. Madhav said when the philosophy of Hinduism is based on the welfare of the people, it cannot be linked to terrorism or fundamentalist elements. The seminar was also addressed by ‘Saamna’ newspaper’s Executive Editor Prem Shukla and senior Congress leader Mahesh Joshi. Shukla slammed Chidambaram for the remarks and said “Islamic terrorism” was coined after the 9/11 terror attacks in the US.

Congress’s dangerous communal game: Will it cause a Hindu backlash? The recent ‘Mood of the Nation’ poll by this website has revealed that the Congress party is perceived to be utterly corrupt by all sections of the electorate, the lone exception being that of Muslims. (Read the Poll here) http://bit.ly/lKwpdf The questions naturally arise: why is the Muslim community out of sync with the nationwide trend, and is not the community equally affected by mis-governance and galloping corruption under the Congress-led UPA government? The Muslim community is well aware that this government has done precious little for their welfare. But now the Congress is seeking to appease them, by on the one hand targeting symbols of the Hindu community, and on the other by courting extreme elements among them and making shocking comments that appeal to their baser sentiments. And, it seems that Muslims have lapped up every cynical action of the Congress government at the Centre. The latest example is the merciless beating up of Baba Ramdev’s supporters in Delhi. The Manmohan Singh government has also been punitively targeting Hindu organizations and the Narendra Modi regime in Gujarat mainly to appease Muslims. All these provocative actions are part of a well orchestrated strategy drawn up by Rahul Gandhi and his political advisers to consolidate the Muslim vote in Congress party’s favour in order to achieve a near majority for his party in the 2014 parliamentary polls. The strategy of wooing Muslims seems to be working as the Congress party’s appeal and support among Muslims has risen substantially in the past three years. It is another matter that the Congress party’s image among the general public has taken a big knock nationwide due to the series of scams that it is embroiled in. As a part of this strategy, the Congress party has let loose Digvijaya Singh to mount a verbal offensive against everything that the Muslims hate. As Rahul Gandhi’s stalking horse and chosen man to lead this mission, Digvijaya commiserates with the families of alleged terrorists in Azamgarh, abuses the Sangh parivar, refers to Bin laden as “Osamaji” and calls Baba Ramdev a thug and worse.

MAHATMA GANDHI WAS MOST UNDEMOCRATIC 1. Mahatma Gandhi is not the Sole Authority of India, he was a very Undemocratic Person, In 1939, when Netaji Subash Chandra Bose won the Congress Presidential Candidature, this Undemocratic Gandhi opposed him & Installed Pattabhi Sitaramayya.... 2. For the First Prime Ministership of India, Sardar Ballavbhai Patel got 14 out of 15 votes & Jawarlal got just 1 Vote, still this Undemocratic Gandhi opposed Patel & installed Jawarlal Nehru, which ultimately converted our Democracy in a Dynastic rule.......... Indira, Sanjay, Rajiv, Sonia, Priyanka, Rahula..... & so on... The most Unfortunate for India.. 3. On one hand, Mahatma Gandhi was talking about SWADESHI in India and on the other hand Nehru (Flirted with Lady Mountbatten), Indira & Rajiv also flirted in England, Fir be Mera Desh Mahan....... 74 Years old Anna Hazare is not Flirting, but fighting against Corruption It is a Pity that more than 50% of the our Indian population are illiterate and below poverty line, Tell me who is responsible... Congress has ruled our Country for 64-6=58 Yrs & BJP has ruled for just 6 Years... Now tell me who is more responsible, Congress or BJP, Just compare Atal Behari Vajpayee & Patient Manmohan Singh... Mr. Vinoy! Don't what to say to people like you? I fail to understand what makes you happy about our progress? Scams and Scandals? Billions and Trillions of rupees of Govt. revenue is a people's resource and it has to be used for the welfare of our country and it's people and not for politicians who are corrupt and used the bribe money for their luxuries and put extra load of money in foreign banks which is used by International Criminals. No need to blame politicians? then whom? People? It's regarding the policy and the way the whole political system is working. Intentions of Govt. is not as it should be. Everybody feels that. Why don't you feel that way is strange! The political bad governance has brought our country to this stage where people...are highly dissatisfied with Govt. and politicians. Criminals are the part of the Political environment and they are even given seats in the parliament. Nobody is there to ask them? What about accountability of Govt, politicians and bureacrats? Who is paying them? It's peoples' money and so they have the right to ask them to perfom in th favor of the country and it's people or else loose the power which was given them to work with all their honesty for the welfare of our nation and not otherwise!

Mr. Shanti Roshan and Mr. Vinoy! I still don't understand why you are not ready to accept the reality and the fact that Congress is unsuccessful totally in all matters including corruption which is a fat issue at present. And yes, all said about Sonia Gandhi is right and Mr. Rajiv Gandhi was also killed by LTTE person who had a link with arms dealers connecting Sonia Gandhi's maternal family with Russian bureacrat who had married Sonia's sister. How Sonia Gandhi's family from very poor before Rajiv Gandhi's marriage to Sonia became millionare after marriage? Any idea? Same is the case with Robert Vadhera...Nobody can be millionare so fast without political favoritism and illegal unguaranted loans given to him. What about black money stashed abroad? Rajiv Gandhi was the first person to have a swiss account..why he need to put money in foreign bank? How did he earn it by just being pilot or by being corrupt? Forget BJP...source of the information can be anything ..be it media or opposition party or foreign people or journalist or wiki-leaks....the fact is not going to change that Sonia has no love for our nation and all corrupt governance is being led by her totally. She and her maternal family has a lot of greed I suppose. How BJP comes into the picture here. The video shown is by some foreign national who is impartial to what happens in India. Don't be blind...that's what I need to say. That is different thing if you do not believe in honesty at all or you yourself are corrupt. Don't say me please that we don't have an alternative than Congress. We can find our way and we will. We don't want any corrupt party or a person or govt. That's the bottom-line!

Mr. Vinoy. I fail to understand why you feel all this agitation and revolution...people on the streets as comedy! As an Indian...you don't feel for the nation as such I suppose! Better you become a little sensitive towards what an average Indian feels due to these scams and corruption! The point is not only of Royal Family...but due to this inherent family's traits of becoming millionare on public money starting from Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi to Rober Vadhera....a son in law of the great Mrs Rajiv Gandhi..who is ofcourse not an Indian in real sense...she can always fly back to Italy if corruption charges are raised against her...she has international connections with Arm Forced dealers...and the money stashed in foreign banks abroad are used for such trading of arms and weapons making our country expose to world class criminals which is as such dangerous for our country! Not only that, if top leaders of our country are skin deep in corruption, other politicians like Mr. Suresh kalmadi etc...and bureacrats at all levels of governance get more chances to be corrupted since there is nobody to stop this corruption at any level. Nobody is prosecuted for corruption charges because there is backing of these top leaders who themselves are highly corrupt! So...when all this would stop then? Is there any option left for the citizens of India than show this corrupt leaders, politicians, bureacrats and govt. officials to show them the gate if they are dishonest and using our public property and money for their own selfish purpose and gathering wealth at the cost of the welfare of the country and it's people? Disgusting.....

Sonia's Black Money Account Here is some shocking truth for all the supporters of Congress party regarding Gandhis , Rajiv’ 2.5 Billions,Swiss Magazine Confirms. The shocking exposure came from Switzerland itself. The most popular magazine of Switzerland, Schweizer Illustrierte, [dated November 11, 1991] did an expose of 14 politicians of developing nations who, it said, had stashed their bribes in Swiss banks. The title of the expose in German read “Fluchgelder — Die Schweizer Konten der Dictatoren”. In English it meant, “Curse of money — The Swiss bank accounts of the Dictators”. Rajiv Gandhi figured in the expose as one with slush funds in secret accounts. Schweizer Illustrierte is not some rag. It is the Number One Swiss magazine and sells some 2,10,000 copies. Its readership is 9,18,000 — some 15 per cent of Swiss adults. The magazine had mentioned specific amounts in secret Swiss accounts of different leaders with their pictures alongside. http://ramanan50.wordpress.com/2011/02/22/rajiv-2-5-billionsswiss-magazine-confirms/ and this is scan of the Magazine http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-78JLUX_8t5w/ThPo2mCIFpI/AAAAAAAADjc/fPuEeaUyJ7E/s1600/2.jpg http://www.kolkata-online.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/SI-46-1991-Seiten-38-41.jpg

Dear Rameshji,.....thank you for inviting yet can not agree with your views and in response to the points raised, would make an effort to reason. 1. You are stating the Mr Bajpai Government was a failure? Allow me to inform several performance benchmarks that were stagnant for five decades got raised during this period. Just do comparative measure on highway construction as an example and you may change your opinion. 2. Agreed there is no corruption free party. Who ruled for first five decades and set benchmarks? Even today a party is working overtime to quell voices of Anna Hazare and Ramdev. Why? 3. Being born in a ruling dynasty makes one a leader, would you say? With no single dictator on top divergent views are bound to exist as in case of BJP or any democratic party. 4. A communal party supporting UNIFORM CIVIL CODE, does it sound strange, Suggesting to change basis of reservation to economic status is certainly not communal. And lastly being Indian and nationalist is certainly not communal. Hope above helps

Nilesh, your question regarding the voting is a valid one, actually educated people refrain from voting and the politicians are taking advantage of the same. Certain change are required in the voting system, like internet or mobile voting i don't know if it would be feasible but then some changes are required. Though i would support BJP led NDA because Congress has already shown their potential and now its time again for BJP. It would be a good change for a change.

Mr. Nilesh! Your opinion about forums is wrong. We are not shouting. It's wise to know what others in our country thinks. Sometimes, we get some good information on such sites. And it is not possible to know or read all the news, hence while we read such opinions/views, we get some more information and others' point of view also which is ofcourse important and valuable! Voting is a different matter altogether. Here, what we are discussing is which political party is effective or ineffective for our country. Rest is upto individual's wisdom and knowledge to vote any particular party.

Mr. Munsi Ramchand...I suppose all advocates of Congress are brain dead!:-) There might be terrorist attacks before irrespective of which party is ruling, what I wanted to convey was the statements that Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Digvijay Singh made on Bombay Blasts! Their statements itself shows how much concerned they are about our country and it's people. Apart from such insensitivity they display on events such as on Ramlila maidan and Bombay Blast, they are totally ineffective not only in controlling terrorist attacks but also rising inflation making a common man's life difficult to drag on as can be seen by incessantly rising food and fuel prices and the corruption scandals make it worse! We have lost all faith in the current UPA/Congress Govt. and there are strong reasons for that which ofcourse everybody know it very well!

Mr. Gurpreet Singh! Your brain is on strike I suppose...!:-) What do you think of congress leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi's Prime Minister candidature? Do you think he is worthy at all to become Prime Minister after what he said yesterday on Terrorist attack on Mumbai on July 13, 2011? Everybody, myself included, is shocked by his statement which says " We have been successful in preventing 99% of terrorist attacks but other 1% we cannot control! [LOL!]" By the way, can you explain the other 99% of terrorist attacks which were prevented before? Also, Digvijay Singh said, "In our country of 1.21 billion, such terrorist attacks are common and these are very less than the terrorist attacks that happen in pakistan itself!" What these Congress leaders think afterall that people of India are blind enough now to accept them as leaders of our country at all? How can they be so insensitive to people of India who got killed recently on wednesday saying it's not possible to control such attacks? This is the very reason that terrorist have gone more courageous and extending their planning in destroying Indian public cowardly since Pakistanis cannot win the war face to face with Indian Army! Such terrorists attack cannot happen without any police officer, bureaucrat or politician sold the security of our country! Corruption kills! And everybody, remember, even a child in our country now knows that Congress is the most corrupt political party of all [starting from Bofors Scandal of Mr. Rajiv/Sonia Gandhi] ...Mrs. Sonia Gandhi's maternal family have become too wealthy after she got married to Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and forming alliance with various Arms/Weapons businessmen around the world! They are selling our country just for money to various terrorists by making deals with these Arms dealers etc... And about Mr. Manmohan Singh...everybody knows that he is just a puppet of Sonia Gandhi and nothing more! This can be very well evident by the ever rising food and fuel prices and so much high inflation rampant in our country! Now, tell me how your "Economist Prime Minister" is running our country? I certainly fail to understand his way of working afterall! About Mr. Narendra Modi and BJP, apart from being a communal party [which is as such nothing wrong since our country is Hindustan], they are the people who love their country, honest, patriotic and not corrupt like Congress Party. Also, during their rule, inflation was not so high and a life of a common man was not so difficult. Also all the infrastructure projects were being started by Vajpayee Govt. only. What congress had done till now?...Everybody knows, 2G Scam, commonwealth games scam, list is endless....and in addition to these all inflation and rising prices..the great Mr. Rahul Gandhi who is considered the potential Prime Minister Candidate, is giving such insensitive statements like all Terrorist attacks are not possible to control! We know why they can't be controlled...this is becoz they have sold their "zameer" for power and money they enjoy....all are involved in Corruption from head to toe! Disgusting!

Can any say one reason to support UPA? Even after losing 2lac crore rupees in 2G spectrum? What Manmohan /Sonia doing all the while when Mr Raja is committing this crime? Manmohan is highly educated. But what use of it? when he cant raise his voice against this corruption? All those who voted for UPA in this, justify urself. When AP came to standstill(State issues), Why Sonia/Singh didnt take any immediate action to stop this hiatus and restart development of AP? Who created reservation system? dividing people for their gains? Dont know when people learn to stop voting to Congress? Even the extreme prices of consumer goods, petrol, diesel, lpg show how people centric the UPA is.

Fake Congress(I) Party - Where I stands for Indira not India No point in arguing with People who are supporting the Fake Gandhis & Fake Congress (I) Party This Congress(I) party is Fake, bcoz it is not the Congress Party of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose or Mahatma Gandhi but it is the Party of Fake Indira Gandhi, i.e., Congress(I), where I stands for Indira not India - or in other words Indira Congress .......
This proves that, this Fake Gandhi family don't believe in India but their family only. They don't have faith in their Party men & workers too ..... They are not running a national party but a Personal/Family party for Looting & Terrorising India........
This message is to be conveyed to all the Indians who are being fooled by these Fake Gandhis for years, they have no shame in asking vote for Indira Congress but not for Indian National Congress. The Fake Gandhis have converted India for Indira, shame shame shame to all these Fake Gandhis & the Fake Congressmen (Indira) looting & terrorizing India ........
