The problem is neither with cities nor with industries. The problem is with the government. The government has neglected the "TRUE INDIA", its rural sector so much that rural industry and farmers are gaining nothing of their production and are forced to starve. Just in order to get money, they are coming which is making industries to move out of the cities. I feel, the government, instead of doing any ban on residential area, rather should take care to improve the village area so that the villagers remain self sufficient and they need not come to cities and make it over populated resulting in the expansion of cities....

The projects are classified as Greenfield or Brownfield projects. Brownfield projects have been executed successfully in other countries and India should as well follow considering the ever increasing demand due to increasing population. Its just the matter of execution techniques and safety standards that needs to be strictly adhered to in executing such jobs.

I support the idea provided that the required safety standards are enforced strictly.

I think yes government should do. Because of increasing number of population mass, residential properties is increasing which is forcing the industries to go to village areas and pollute them. It is also taking away the agricultural lands which is resulting in increasing in market price of food materials. There are many illegal residential areas created on the basis of bribing government officials. When enquired, fake permission orders are also produced which is keeping on continuing the process. Thus I believe government should put a ban on residential properties...

Industries are not moving out of Cities. More and more industries are coming to cities like  Chennai and Hyderabad. With no infrastructure to backup the expansion, Chennai is very poor in terms of quality of drinking water. Must be the worst in the world. The government has failed to push new industries to deep into the state. Most engineers and diploma holders do not find enough jobs in their towns and are forced to move into cities putting lots of pressure on dwelling and other basic infrastructure.

The city is already too much expanded, and there is chances to develop the urban areas for residence.so goverment should try to develop these ares. so that there will be no load on cities.

As the expanding cities get free with the industrial population and have that much space left with by the evacuation of the industries the residential population should need not to be moved as It is good in the interest of the residential people to get a peaceful and healthy envoirnment after shifting of the industries in an outskirt distant location

I do support this argument. The population blast in urban centres is due to continuous increase of gap between rural & urban India. Rural India is badly trailing in all respect. This is a socio-economic problem & it requires greater attention fromboth the government & society.
