Start of the Month March and we have huge scarcity of water everywhere.Will there be civil war due to water in India?

The nationalisation of river resources with a centralised authority and transparent allocation of such resources is long overdue in this country. There are too many problems of allocation between too many states. Now the problem is going international with out neighbours.

I strongly feel that we are very very low on the conservation front with an ever increasing population, read demand, we need to inculcate the conservation value quickly. 

In addition just like we use wind turbines now to supplement our power grid, we also need to use the desalination process to supplement our urban water supply.

We also need to look at our supply mechanism to ensure that wastage is kept to minimum.

Civil war? Well that is the one thing we dont need to worry about....we will let our political class worry about that one. It will atleast keep them occupied,.

The picture is quite alarming as rivers are drying up and rain pattern throughout the country is changing for worse and not enough methods of rainwater harvesting are in practice either by government and semi government institution or private organisations,we are on the verge of Civil war due to water shortage.
