Its horizon is much wider , particularly with nano technology. Present inspetion methods need a lot of skills driven individuals(X-RAY, UT etc in diagnostic medicine). Continuous research and development help the people live healthier. Recently, I heard, in UK they invented a machine that reads the mind. They were, on their way to invent a machine to study the paralysis attacked patient but, they invented this.It is tested & is to go for production.

Yes it is in boom...... There seems to be more demand for this field and people started moving towards medicine again.....
