Comic book on communalism launched in capital

A comic book dealing with the sensitive issue of communalism in India was launched here Wednesday.

"Communalism Explained! A Graphic Account" has been written by Ram Puniyani, while Sharad Sharma, founder world comics India, has done the illustrations. The book is published in Hindi and English in association with Oxfam India, an NGO.

In the age of media where the good old comics too have lost there charm will this comic book help?

Thanks for the information first Yash...I also likes to buy one....Till then we are not sure what are the subjects....But when I saw the title I thought Indian politics is itself is a comody....Do I want to explain....no need.....

Recently I read that some CPM leader admiited it was their mistake when they opposed computers long time back....Sounds funny.....

And what about when we hear that Supreme court was slammed union Govt on....why they are not taking any action on black money....I feel it is another comody...

I would like to buy one but I am not sure that everyone will.. I applaud the efforts and at least I am sure that after reading this you all too know that something like this exists.. Perhaps people interested might go and get there copies.. But would it work in market.. NO

Yes, it caricaturs far right, extremist policies. Religion should be practised at home and social gatehrings; it should not be made a political or identity issue.
