It is a stark reality that a common's security is under serious threat in today's world and it is ever growing-I also doubt how much of public outcry is going to change this scenario in the nearest future.

There is a saying - 'Prevention is better than cure' - Not surprisingly nobody in charge of the administration has ever thought of it-Least of all  human beings.

Is it not a daily sight to see violence against women?? Are we not seeing violence against children in one form or the other?? Are we not seeing vandalism in the form of political patronage enacted causing huge damage and loss of lives???

Then, What is preventing law makers from stringently enacting laws to ensure that such things does not get repeated??? Why is the delay in enforcing laws?? Is it because the law makers themselves are involved directly or indirectly???

There are millions of questions that need answering - The problem starts at the very basic point ie law institutions like police stations and courts - Today our courts are in sorry state and sunk in deep corruption.

I'm one of the victims of land grabbing despite in possession of a clear land title - I've been fighting the case for the last 8 years and launched several police complaints and civil suits but to no avail.

In the bargain I've lost belief in our law system - the question in my mind is, if everybody has to take law into his own hands what will happen???

Bribery in every walk of life has totally eroded moral values-Recruitment to vital positions are done by clout and money resulting in inefficient people running the administrations.

We all believe in fighting it out - But how long????

I'm one of the victims of land grabbing despite in possession of a clear land title - I've been fighting the case for the last 8 years and launched several police complaints and civil suits but to no avail because the police station and the local court are indirectly run by the local goons with political backing - This is the scenario in a city like Chennai.Even representations to the commissioner of police is of no use - Why?? Because police commissioners/collectors and others in such high positions are handpicked by the ruling party and alliance parties with a clear understanding that no actions will be taken against their men - That is the truth and so also the Chief Justice of India - Not long ago Justice Balakrishnan had raised a storm on the merits of his selection to that position.

In the bargain I've lost belief in our law system - the question in my mind is, if everybody has to take law into his own hands what will happen???
