It is beneficial for the sports men. This will increase the interest level in Indian youths. So in future we can see Indians topping the sports events....

I dont how much CWG is beneficial for a common man but this is beneficial for sport persons. For a long time they wanted some thing like this to happen in India and now it is happening. I think sports other than cricket will get benefit from this.

It is apparantly visible in Delhi, that the infrastructure is much more improved.  So, sports events like this will benefit the common man.  Many small traders in the organizing cities will improve their business, even they can get leads overseas for expansion.

Politicians may swindle some funds from this spending, but in the absence of events like this they will use other ways.

For sure CWG are benefecial both for sports persons and common man. The created infrastructure will boost interest towars games and also the facilties to practice.

The topic is now open all of you. Please you decide what should be right for CWG 2010,NEW DELHI. will India hosting rightly or its totally corruption wealth game. From my side its our pleaser to host like such a big game which realy benificial for India. But question is that.....but which cost? How we improve our game and achieve more medal and how many times our tri colour up in the air for Indian point of view. Which side we improve and how........now the topic will open for discussion and your valuable suggestions........

I would prefer to disagree. More so after the current mess that we have witnessed in this arena.The political and the organising class have proven their impotence by messing up with the country's image for the last 6 years on this issue.To the extent that teams are pulling out, or talking of bringing their own security et al. There is even talk of scrapping the whole show and assigning the responsibility to some other host.If that happens, would our sports persons be respected there. The callous handling of the World Wresting Champion's issue by Shri MS Gill to hog media limelight is another case in point.My take is that this show of casualness will only help in making mokery of the country and her sports persons. The show must go on "Bash on - regardles"
