yes competition is way to growth and also comparison helps to start our way to achieve what we dream about. Many time i heard don't compete with others by many idols but i think with comparison we can start at least......

Yes competition is only way to Grow...but depends on the way. I think every body in this world is unique and have the things which no one else have. If you dont have common things then what you can have competition for? Better to have competition with yourself. Make better yourself than you were yesterday. For competition with some one there is only two ways...first- improve yourself and let help others also to the same. second- no need to do anything , just make some one to have regress. you will get progress itself. I think very few people like first option. If one of my indian brother regressing and i am feeling that i got progress to seeing him,,,that is not progress that is illusion which can lead us to go down. So Competition is good thing but have it to improve yourself not to show others that you are more than them. Once each of us will improve ourself,, then no need to count days to see our country as a developed country.. already we will be developed. Good luck friends.

Yes I agree, Competition is a way to growth to certain extent with other countries. But competition should come from with in the country and we should not much bother about other countries' growth otherwise we will end up in enmity over each others growth for eg, India & China. We should compare our present growth with our past growth and make it better than the past. This kind of growth is healthy to our nation.

Mr. baalu i am using your wording itself "UNLIKE CHINA OUR INDUSTRIALISTS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE HAVE TO CROSS SO MANY IMPEDIMENTS,RED TAPISM,LASS GOVT SUPPORT ETC.THEY WILL HAVE TO BE APPRECIATED FOR THEIR DETERMINATION TO ACHIEVE IN SPITE OF ALL THESE ODDS." You are also agree that we(our industrialists) facing more problems within India than rest of world in terms of competition. otherwise china are far away(back) from India in terms of growth

When we grow together , but i will more- that is competition . But as i feel, nowadays the definition is different - push someone and take his place. But this only your growth not for your nation. I know what is the strength fo India. We have the best but still we are trying to be better only.

Competition is a pre requisite for growth of a country else monopolositic conditions will prevail and it results into concentartion of wealth in few hands thereby no overall growth.. See what India was doing till 1991 and the result is in front of us that we are way behind our global counterparts. China strenthened its manufacturing base thru small industries, big ventures and then now jumping into Service sector but in India we followed reverse way i.e. we went into service segment like BPO first and it is the time we should strengthen our Manufacturing base. Politicains should come out of their petty interests and infuse measures for overll growth of the manufacturing sector. Thsi way we can compete with international manuf. Believe me if this happens , India will leave China behind as my experience shows that even in Europe, USA and Africa peopel wants to shift their sourcing to India. Cheers if leaders of this nation walke up to this call

Hello Vipin, To get better quality, competition is must. This you can find in everywhere. When you talk about growth, this we have already achieved to certain extent. still to achieve more, Government should simplify the rules so that we can have better growth in all sector. K Rajagopalan.

Great vipin you are right, you are talking about internal problems i.e. high population, low income rate, corruption, political environment etc..... If we are competite with internal problems then it is difficult to competite with rest of countries. Like if we have pain in our body then even doctor can't operate the patient. First of all we will recover from internal problems..

No doubt India is growing with good rate but if we make com-petite analysis then we will get that china's growth rate is more than India in many sectors/industries except population growth rate. Even we see in last recession 2008 that Indian market much effected than Chinese. FIIs move to china at that time rather make more investment in India. It shows that growth of china is in very perfect manner(strong) than India. Maybe internal crisis, problems are the major factors for same. It means India facing too much competition within India than outside.......

THANK YOU NAMRATA. COMPETITION KEEPS ONE ON THE TOES AND KEEPS HIM ACTIVE.TO QUOTE MR.RATAN TATA, IN TODAY`S COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT EVEN IF YOU WANT TO STAY WHERE YOU ARE YOU HAVE TO KEEP ON RUNNING.MANY INDIAN ENTREPRENEURS HAVE STARTED THINKING GLOBAL AND ARE IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING THEIR PRESENCE FELT GLOBALLY.SUCH IS THE LEVEL OF THEIR CONFIDENCE AND QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.AS IS BEING POINTED OUT IN THESE COLOUMS,WE MAY BE CLOSELY FOLLOWING CHINA BUT THE FACT REMAINS,UNLIKE CHINA OUR INDUSTRIALISTS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE HAVE TO CROSS SO MANY IMPEDIMENTS,RED TAPISM,LAX GOVT SUPPORT ETC.THEY WILL HAVE TO BE APPRECIATED FOR THEIR DETERMINATION TO ACHIEVE IN SPITE OF ALL THESE ODDS.

While competition by itself generates growth, it is international competition that generates maximum growth potential for any profit minded organization. The reason for this is that competition at international levels makes the business object - the product or service - compatible and consequently acceptable through internationally recognized standards.

Yes. Competiition is a way for healthy growth of economy and advancement in greater knowledge of products. As a Marketing Pesonnel I enjoy working in the todays rat race market conditions. wheter is it match stick or Air carft ( Boeing and Airbus), cars and other consumer durables there is a lot to choose for the customer.Ultimately the quality cost and service are important whether it is from our country and over seas. One more eg. Japan after world war II were shattered but such a small country if u see in map one has to really learn how they became progrssive....

Yah competition is way to growth with other countries But the dirty politician involvement of our country is very bad. Through various quota system the sprit of the competition is going down wards. In want of power and vote bank all the talent of new generation is getting spoil. I que site of the new young star should be to wards for best research in new technology in various field. Present no body want to do hard work and they are always try to shift work load which is not good sine for power full India. Subhash

It's good that india is in a position where we think of compete with the rest of the world. I do agree that we have got the potential to go certain extent. But, out competencies remain focussed only on certain industries. The competition with diversified products and services, will help us grow economically stronger and place india where every indian would be proud to see. Thanks to the recent times where india has been seen a major conributor to the global growth. The young brains should strive towards to compete with the rest of the world and the govt should have the policies changed to encourage the same.
