Yes, I am agree with your statment , but dear friend..lately its all about competition, and winning by any means, and even kids at the younger age are being taught the same thing and I think one is being misled these days saying its hardcore competition outside and forgetting the small small things which makes one really happy, people are racing in something which is programmed to them from their younger days, and in the name of competition people are doing things which are not normal to them and are later they find themselves cursing themselves and their life and people around them. So, I think its time we need to do a self realization and think what is that we are running behind and what is that we want to achieve at which cost........

competition is not mental diseas coz' it depend's particulary on our personal mental strength ..if ur succesfully going on for your carrer than u will not make aruguments to clear the obstacals & if some one's unsucessful in their business or other career than we feels about competition so conclusion is sucess & competition is part of our luck .

Competition is definitely desirable BUT people has to understand upto what extent & which aspect people are competing. Most of the time, for the sake of unworthy joy, we loose our own. On the contrary, under GLOBALIZATION, if we dont compete, we will not survive. It's a struggle for existence and the winner will only survive. But, still sometime I personally feel... "CO-Operation is much better the Competition.. " We should re-think on "LIVE AND LET LIVE"

WOW!!! ( on Mr. Naushad's comments) That's why CREATIVE mind is always differs from general thoughts/rules/views. U have shown a beautiful way to accept challenges and to KNOW MORE ONE's inner strength/capacity--- By which one can discover his/herself. This is called truly " A Beautiful Mind" ----

No way, do you think we would have come this far from Stone age without competition, It is only competition which gives us the desire to grow, to excel and to pursue something better. It is fire which is needed to keep us going. It must be healthy for the betterment of humanism as a whole.

Well, we need to differentiate between competition and corruption of minds. Healthy competition would only lead to win-win situation for all, creating a well-rounded and progressive society on the other hand the latter would lead to frustration and burnout.

can you imagine life without competition - everyone at par? no ambition or drive to excel? equal rights/ opportunities - its like a race where everyone comes 1st!!! competition is the essence of life, playing ambition to give rise to contests - unhealthy is totally a personal perception, matter how one looks at it! the unhealthy is perpetuated by the ones who see opportunity at everyones expense & these exist in every aspect of life!

Conditional competition may be a bit harrassment whereas, normal competition develop recognition among peers / skills to next level that is actualy existing. Unless there is a competition, mind goes lethargic & be content with what it attained.World achieved so many things because of competition among nations. So do the people live-in there needs to develop skill to compete with others. Its an inate tendancy of mind to aspire for higher level. Competition in arts refine the skills attained. When you look at competition in these perspective , it may not be a mental disease.Rather a way of developing one's skill attained.
