It is worth studying abroad if you are going to the top B schools like NYU Stern, Harvard, LSB etc. but not otherwise.Indian management education itself rocks. We are not inferior to the ones abroad.

With many global universities opening shop in Indian cities, there is no need to go abroad for studies, unless one has decided to make his/her career there

I believe if one wants to study abroad for management education he/she should be prepared to return back to home country after studies considering poor economic conditions in US & Europe.

Except for the gate pass we get in MNCs for having studied abroad, I have never seen one simple reason why any human should learn about "Management" elsewhere in the world?

India houses some of the best Management institutions in the world. Our "Dibbavalas" are being studied throughout the world! From Mahatma Gandhi to Arindam Chaudhuri, we have seen efficient management!

Not the degree with a foreign badge, but the entrepreneurial faculty of the aspirant is what makes the difference, especially in Management!

Good for the economy of the country- Good for students who are spared from wearing dog-tags to identify themselves as Indians- Good for the world Air traffic who always have a vigilant eye on Khans!

Good debate, will refer and yes, one needs to be "filthy rich" too to study outside- @Jenifer :)

If students are planning to go for MBA's or any other course and then thinking about settling in abroad itself then one can go for such courses which comes at a very high price, and with the current economic situation it would not be wise to go for courses there, if one is filthy rich and money doesnt matter for them one can easily go for these things, but for a commoner it would be difficult to pay of the education loan with the salary one gets in India, hence it would not be advisable for students to go for courses abroad.
