Constructing museums in India is waste

today we have technology to make things interesting. Even making green bath-rooms can attract public. If a place sounds boring it should be made interesting using the latest technology instead of letting it go. Museums are supposed to be places which are social , where like minded people can meet and gain knowledge. Constructing such places should never be waste of time.

Dear Mallaya Pandravada sir, you are right that we have all kinds of museums which shows our history, but in one we can't find what we need, example if we like to know abt development in Mechanical things we have to search more than 1 museum which is travelling and time consuming, on these a less people will have interest. I feel we need to develop to a stage that each part of history contains in one place it may take long time to see around but it will be in days only i believe.

Mr Laxman we ha ve museums for every thing starting from trchnology to history.You need to see visweswarayya museum for tech detais.You  need to know india and need to re invent it.Go to Jantar mantar of forts which show cases even astrological features. It is necessary to make such an investment.It is like forgetting the imbellicard of the infant.Even when the society grows from infancy to adult stage its museums the imbellicards contain some cells which can cure its ills cancers.

Constructing museum in India is never a waste, even if the people are not visiting museums, it cannot be considered as wwaste because museum is a place where the antiques are kept and preserved, whether people visit to watch them or not, those antiques really mean to the pride of India and that is a fact. To attract people, making use of technology is not at all wrong. In fact, we should make use of the technology to attract more people. That will definitely pull some crowd to museums. Museums were a definite part of the educatioonal process for my generation. Unfortunately the habbit has been lost. People are so busy now-a-days that they dont find the time to take children to the museums. One can learn a lot in a few hours at the museum....in some ways even better than at school.

It is never a waste to construct a museum, apart from being a repository of our culture it serves as a guide to researchers and scholars. Yes, we definitely need to make museums interesting starting by justing having bright coloured walls and a decent exterior facade. Who ever said musuems have to look like pre-historic ruins ? Museums abroad like the New York museum does a lot of imaginative marketing to attract visitors and in fact have higher attendance than some of the popular tourist spots. In our country museums have yet to receive the funds or the seiousness in governance.

While it is true that Indians have a low sense of history, Museums are important. Technology is useful. As Google already has done this to many sites around the world.

Every thing which is new today shall be old tomorrow. Humans have the capability to preserve the old .This is not true of other species.So, why should not we put our capabilities to practice.Heritage by its nature makes humans wiser in many ways.This is the greatest of all benefits. So construction of museums must continue with a greater vigor but green techie is inevitable.We must try to seek permission to visit the museums with peace and learning spirit and add more. Museums are really meant for posterity. Construction of Akshardham in New Delhi to re-visit our tradition and age-old Indian culture is a live example of how technology could be used to make it even more interesting to attract crowd.

Yes the whole of India itself is a great museum, after one reads and assimilates the history / great epics of India and goes around. But only few are blessed to do it. Museums if done with this in mind and planned well shall be of use to inculcate our tradition and enrich the souls.

I have visited so many museums which show our history but I have not seen any where a new technological items just telecom,telephony,electricals appliances only seen old king palace and other which is not useful at present and future.We can see every thing in our net so be smart and technical person.In europion countries have kept their sclptures in updated and maintained very well.Visitor are attracted by themselves not to make artificial interesting.

Even in US they try to close or cut the expenditure heavily on this Museum. In India, there is no need to say the preset conditions and admin, it is pathetic.
