Consultancy is a contact point between your need and you. It adds to your contacts. If there is no consultancy then how will we know the business or job opportunies. Websites,Portals for job and business are also consultants only. Yes,nobody should be charged ideally for the consulting unless the consulting is fruitfulr to him/her.Or there should be just nominal charges.

Consultancy Should be Ban?:-...It is correct consultancy should be ban because Company sailing jobs through this consultancy. now a day this business is high market because all companies HR sailing jobs, these consultancy taking 1-2 months salary from employ and sharing with HR. because HR getting profit that's why they are not keeping open interview. lots of people are waiting for job but because of this dirty system they are not getting chance. now most of the student leaving this field because of no opportunity after graduation they are changing the field or going for another field job I request all lifescience companies director please keep open interview not underground.........

Consider these +ve points for consultancy: 1. Bridge between Company & Client--Information exchange. 2. Reduction in TAT in recruitment--more vacancies filled in short time span. 3. Wanted but Unknown information available to both parties. 4. Employment options within the recruitment consultancies--Very small in ratio to national unemployment scenario but never the less; a solution. 5. Even in bad economic situations like recession; both parties (client & company's) can cling on to HOPE for their mutual benefit. SHOULD THEY STILL BE BANNED!

Yes Renee, But sometime they misguide the candidates about hiring company facts & job responsibilities. They should be given guidelines for that. I also suffer from misguiding about company facts by leading consultancy firm. Please tell what to do in that situation.

i think consultancies are better interface between employers and companies...even more freshers are getting benefited by good consultancies. some good consultancies won't charge anything from candidate .of course some fraud consultancies be there, strict action can be taken on fraud consultancies by the government. Hence i won't agree that consultancies should ban completely.

Thanks for referring Ms Renne, Consultancy is a good outsourcing tool for all fields. But nowadays there are numerous ones which we cannot judge its quality and even management also willing to accommodate temporary assignments to them. What will be then the result? Less quality and less involvement and less fruitful results..

we have to choose the right way to climb up.Consultancies only can choose a rigt man for the right position with a third eye representation. Its a good thing for the company as well as for the candidate also. You may be a right person but if you are posted in a wrong position both the base will be spoilt.Even a company HR can not go through a hundread s of application, but a consultancy to retain its relationship with the company will do its best morally.Viceversa to the candidate also.If we choose aconsultancy no problem if we choose a mediator then money, time will be loss.

True renne ,now a day the most difficult task in industry is to manage and get talented people n doing so is quite costly for any organization. vice versa It is not feasible for a candidate to approach to the organization n get information for their desire job. In this way consultant are playing vital role for the both side.

Companies have to think on the other part about cost incurred in direct recruitment & a consultant hiring. What you are saying is only about fake consultancies & as far as I know no reputed companies HR would do it. It wont go much difficulty for a consultant to switch to another business but it goes difficult for companies to work without consultants

Very fact you are raising the question on the aspect of professional service, when it comes to that how can you BAN. If you really want to BAN, BAN the attitude that is linked with it, Until and unless if you don't consult How would you get to know as to what to get out of the consultation you are really looking forward to. If you really want to BAN, BAN the anti-social element that it can create, Ensure that it is not an hinderance to others on the situation you would be facing. When you raise a point of BAN, All the eyebrows start raising, you don't need any vigra for that. I would say consultancy by profession should have its philosophy to ensure the main objective of life when it comes to any kind of desired results you are looking for. so Consultancy should not be BANNED. Instead BAN the attitude behind it.

Mr.Ram Krishna, for your kind information, so many consultancy are available and recruit as well as support to so many candidate. If you will analyse or do survey, you will get data about more and mmore recruitment is done by HR placement consultancy, even many institute are also approach to direct consultancy. Ms. Renne i would like to add that not some consultancy, but so many consultancy are not taking any charge from candidate, consultancy are taking charge form company. There very less consulatcy who are taking charge form candidate as compared to no charge from candidate. Now a day consulatancy is medium who provide candidate to company. Even though, if you will visit portal naukri.com, you will find majority job thorugh consultancy as well as name or contact given also consultancy. Thanks Ms.Renne for referal...
