Baalu , good point to note. Even single digit customers count to big numbers. Now a days we can see super aBazars, hyper Markets are spreading from big cities to small towns, which gives the product better exposure. As I observe the visitors to super bazars, hyper markets, Malls are not restricted to Upper Income groups . Even Middle Class andbelow middle class income people visit. The visit to such places is giving opportunity to learn about new goods, brands and its values. So as to get desired results the brand should work its way to occupy better shelf place, promotion activities by the brand can help a large in this matter. Thank u for ur constructive participation in this debate Mr. Baalu.

I agree with what Srinivasa said. They are really helping to promote the brands and creates a brand image for the product. Nowadays malls are gaining more importance among the people and they feel that they get the best products over there. :)

Yes. The traditional marketing concept, buying and selling, creating brands etc. changed radically in our country with induction of mall and big bazaar concepts. It created interest in mind of same people to buy more and spent more and there fore contributed to the growth of the economy.

Thanks for the referrral Mr.Malladi Madhukumar. In my view the malls & super bazars helps upto some extent only and that too who are the buyers, only the rich class and upper middle class customers. Here again the product reachability has been restricted. To enhance more reachability to every nook & corner of the targeted cities whether urban or rural areas, it would be better sales through the muliple network of authorized dealers/retailers. Under this system the sale of products has been widened & spreaded and where as the sales through malls & super bazzars the sales have been restricted/confined to particular class of customers. Therefore, manufacturers are able to increase their volume of sales only through the multiple network of dealers/channel partners/retailers.Another risk to the manufacturers will be of taking the upper hand by the owners of the mall/super bazzar outlets. happy debate friends.

Hi Madhukumar!! Once again a meaningful discussion but in the wrong category. This cannot be a debate. It can be brilliant Ideation asking people HOW?? Or even a Q & A asking people its validity!! I believe you should place this in the right category and I am sure you will definitely get a lot more meaningful participation! Thanks :)
